Metroid Prime vs Halo. Surely the collest battle ever, no? Here's what happens when the two series' go head-to-head!

Gameplay

Metroid Prime (1, 2 and 3)- Surely shooting gameplay has never been this fine on a Nintendo system. Brilliant controls (especially in Corruption) Fast paced fighting and fiendish puzzles give this a 10!

Metroid Prime: 10

Halo (1, 2 and 3)- Skillful fights, large environments, good controls but a lack of boss fights give this a 9

Halo: 9

Graphics

Metroid Prime(1-3)- The GC titles shone out largely in this area, as they outdo many Wii games. Corruption looks pretty good too, so this gets a 9

Metroid Prime- 19

Halo(1-3)- Although the earlier versions weren't as good as they could've been, the 360 version looked fantastic, so 9 to Halo

Halo: 18

Music

Metroid Prime (1-3)- The intro offers some diabolically brilliant music, and the rest of the game a good music too, so this getsa 9!

Metroid Prime: 28

Halo (1-3)- Some pretty epic music, although the music of the main game isnt very good, so 8 here

Halo: 26

Im just saying that I prefer Metroid Prime. It's not because I hate the Xbox (Which I do:twisted:) its because it serously prefer it. And I do like Halo too

Ummmmm....... thanks?But I don't want it to be a review, I was hoping other people would share their thoughts in a similar context. Halo 3 is one of the best shooters on the 360, however Metroid Prime 3 is the best shooter on the Wii. So I guess it's that bit more special

Metroid Prime wins. Halo: Combat Evolved (the only Halo game I've played) was mediocre. Metroid Prime on the other hand is pretty much the best game ever.OniStrat

Playing Halo 3 might change your opinion (the opinion of Halo being crap) Metroid Prime is brilliant, but caling it the best game ever might be taking it a little too far. Although I do agree that the first Halo was pretty rubbish

I used to be like you, then I grew up and moved to a big boy fps.

Metroid Prime will always be one of my favourite Gamecube games........I mean that. But Part 2 and 3 just didnt have the magic. Not to mention none have a addicting multiplayer.

honestly these two games are so different that its almost impossibe to compare them. One is a platforming adventure game that just happens to be in first person and the other is a straight up futuristic war game in first person. It's just not a real fight.
