Is not only are they all incredibly ugly, they all run under 30 fps too.. I mean, when will devs just pick one or the other?

I think the Uncharted games run at a good FPS. I don't recall any slowdowns with UC2 and UC3. I had a lot of slowdowns with KZ2 while KZ3 had only a handful for the whole game.

Good example is farcry 3 vs just cause. Both open world island games. Far cry 3 for me constantly had frame rate drops ranging from 15 to 30 frames depending on what was happening on screen. It also had horrible draw distance with foliage appearing and disapearing all the time. Just cause had a lower resoltion lower res textures and the game runs smoother by a long shot and the world you move around in looks even better because there is less draw distance issues, less frame rate issues and there are far more trees everywhere.Â
THe point is if they would have sacrificed some ingame reselotion and effects they could of had a game that ran smooth and looked better just at lower overall visual fidelity.
