The reason Halo 3 is not overhyped

Halo 3 is overhyped.. I loved Halo and Halo 2, and I'm sure Halo 3 is going to be a an awesome game, but that doesn't change the fact that it still gets more attention then it really should.coolviper2003

Please explain why because the way I see it is if that many people wanna hype it as their most anticipated game then that speaks for itself.

I think Halo 3 is overhyped right now, I never liked the first two, but what looks really bad about Halo 3 is that there is so little new. The characters, the levels, and most of all the gameplay, they all look recycled. chutup

Don't hype MGS4, FFXIII, Killzone 2, SMG, or SSBB then because none of those are improving any more than Halo 3 is.

After 2of themif people thought it was average they wouldn't hype it this much, people still play it online after nearly 3 years, and everytime I turn around the only game I see you people call overrated is Halo.Just face it that your mad that the hype of Halo overshadows whatever your favorite game is and that if it was so overrated people wouldn't play it for so long.jimmygrace

Oh I suppose your only a nine year kid, remember this, big the kids actually know real facts. Every 'halo'has different features. That make it get up the charts and stay there. Not to mention the Ratings: 9.5-10.0

Seriously, when you compare any of the Halo games to Half Life 2, it falls flat on its face. Halo 3, will fall flat on its face compared to HL2.

Halo is so generic its unbelievable how much hype it gets. Oh well, Im sure itll get a 9+ rating on GS, and im sure millions will buy it and say how amazing it is.

You're not really a good example for that "kid", especially with your crappy grammar. Do you honestly think he is going to take you seriously if he, the "nine year-old kid", has better grammar than you have?

Furthermore, all you said is that every Halo game has different features. Why not elaborate a bit more and give some examples? Otherwise, "don't speak if you don't know, kid".

You're not helping anybody by acting all immature. It only makes you yourself look dumb. Anyways, a lot of kids play Halo. Pretty much every middle school kid at my school had Halo on their Mac laptops for example.

I advise you to follow your own advice and not post on topics that are obviously too sophisticated for you. So if you're smart, I won't hear from you.

just to add a little dash of chaos into a mixture already rife with confusion and ignorance, i will say this;

Killzone 2 makes Halo 3 look like a candy-coated run-and-gun for preschoolers with ADD and a caffiene buzz. Games on PS3 are real games, for real men, not some kiddy frag-fest that would be unplayable if it weren't for the ungodly amounts of auto-aim they have to include because control pads (especially 360's)are cumbersome and unwieldy.

So in conclusion; Real men own ps3's and play Resistance - so give your 360 to your little sister or something. Get her that stupid game with the stuffed animals in it or whatever. Peace.

Theres tons of better platformers than Mario ... yet they go unoticed? Am I mad? no? I just laugh at over-marketed games that recieve mass ammounts of idolizing.

Crysis ... is it perfect? no? is it different? yes , will it sell more than Halo 3? no. do I care? NO.

Do I find it funny watching 200% speed Halo 3 where nobody can hit eachother due to craptastic anolog sticks. YES :lol:
