My bet: Each character model has about 80 polygons. And it's only possible on PS3! Although I suspect the case is the same with APB, per Microsoft.

Maybe the same reason it took Square Enix, like, FOREVER,to show off anything concrete about FFXIII? The same reason tons of devs don't show off their projects immediately?
Because it just ain't ready yet.
Because it's a bad game, maybe?

FFXIII bad am confirmed. :o Secret Nintendo project bad am confirmed. :o
They've already shown a screen shot. The game most likely wasn't ready to show last year obviously. I suspect we will see a full demonstration this E3. The last game Zipper released was in 2006. They've probably been working on MAG for 3 years already.Probably because they don't want to show screenshots until they can wow people with them.
TAKE_IT_BACK
Cause they are trying to touch it up as much as possible for E3. THat what makes the most sense at least.
[QUOTE="HarlockJC"]One of the reasons why Nintendo keeps information close to them until near a game or idem coming out. Is because they are use to being ripped off. The idea of MAG could change gaming on a console system. There may be information which Sony does not want to escape. If they give out too much information for a game so far off. Someone may copy it and beat them too the punch.Episode_EveThe only things we know: 1.) Play as Green Beret, Ranger, Navy Seal, and so on. 2.) 256 players 3.) You can parachute down from planes. 4.) Multiplayer only I'm sure there will be some unique game mechanics revealed as well. Zipper is no slouch. We also know the way you play has changed...In games like Halo rank mean nothing expect maybe to show off. In this game you will be the leader of a large group of players based on rank. Maybe even parts of the game you can't play without an X rank. Giving people even more reasons to keep playing and working on their skills. I could see the idea behind the game changing many other genure.
Brilliant. "It's not ready to be shown off yet because it's not ready to be shown off." That's not circular logic at all!Because it's not ready to be shown yet. :o
Storm_Marine
hey OP maybe you can also make a Alan wake thread..
i mean why not
We've seen Alan Wake in motion, that's why.[QUOTE="Episode_Eve"][QUOTE="HarlockJC"]One of the reasons why Nintendo keeps information close to them until near a game or idem coming out. Man I have a feeling this game is very ambitious (not just because of the 256 player count).

Alan Wake was announced in 2005 and still no concrete details outside of the game being "episodic" and a"psychological thriller". MAG was just announced last year. Not trying to be negative, just pointing it out.Because it's not ready to be shown yet. :o

Resistance is 3 games in one, Uncharted 2 and Killzone 2 are trying to take on Crysis, M.A.G. has 256 Players, God of War 3.. well, speaks for itself, Heavy Rain is pushing QTEs to the max, and the PS3 itself is the incarnation of ambition itself. The biggest issue with pretty much every PS3 exclusive is that it collapses under its own weight, to some degree.

I have never felt that way. The PS3 itself may have been overly ambitious as was Resistance 2, but I don't see how KZ2 and Uncharted fell under their own weight.
Because it's early in development and people like you would be all "omg this looks like crap lolol!!!!"
