The Remasters Most Wanted Thread.

This thread isn't for people who hate remasters which nobody is forcing them to buy, complain somewhere else.

For me, PS4: Uncharted Trilogy. I played the first one and got bored. I'd definitely buy all three properly remastered (not just resolution increase and dumped on a disc).

Xbox One: Gears of War. Never played it on 360. Day one purchase for me if they do it.

PC: Ultima 7 and Ultima Underworld. System Shock 1 and 2. I would love to know if they really are as good as I remember them without having to get past the dated graphics.

Shenmue 1 & 2 HD collection leading up to the release of Shenmue 3.

Bioshock 1: Like a Metro Reduxe with new gunplay, AI and so on combined with a juicy graphical boost!

A Panzer Dragoon collection would be a dream come true.

This, so much this... I'd pay $1,000 and I'm being dead serious, a grand...

I had a Dreamcast (might still have it somewhere) but never played this. I recently played Sleeping Dogs on PS4 is it similar to that?

Demons Souls, Dark Souls, Skyrim, and Bioshock trilogy.

Nope, doesn't own the thread at all we are talking about 'better' versions not ones with graphics from the gen they were released. Thanks for popping in though.

Buy a backwards compatible PlayStation 3 ($120) an Xbox ($25) and an Xbox 360, ($75).

Eh, not really. They share some themes and similar settings, but Shenmue is more third person exploration/investigation with gameplay like Virtua Fighter.

People who were to play it today wouldn't be as impacted as we were back in the day, and the games haven't aged very well.

For you maybe. If the game looks and plays better some people will buy 'the same old game' again because they liked it so much. Also some people maybe never played it on the old system and they get a better version. No BC blows I agree mainly because it makes your collection obselete when a new console comes along but I always say just keep your old consoles. I still have my PS3 and 360 they are going nowhere but TLOU remastered for PS4 is not going to work on your PS3 and is a superior version so it's not right to simply write it off.

The only 2 remasters I'd buy would be a gears of war trilogy or mass effect trilogy.

Final Fantasy XII HD would be swell. As would The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.

It's phenomenal. One of the reasons why I want a Panzer Dragoon collection is so that more people get a chance to play it.

But my no.1 pick would be a Mass Effect trilogy remaster.

I want to say Twilight Princess but the wolf sections and long ass tutorial really ruin it for me. If they streanlined that and cut the fat, it would be an amazing remake/remaster.

Other than that I'd love a Metroid Prime trilogy remaster.

BC is only "better" if you already own the game and even then the additions to the remaster might make it worth buying again. I didn't own a PS3 until late 2013 and missed out on some games so now I'm just waiting for better versions on PS4 like with The Last of Us.

A remaster of Max Payne 1 and 2 bundled together would be something I'd very much dig.

And about SS2 I played it recently for the first time with the graphical overhaul mods and damn it one of the best games that I've ever played.(Also its very very hard. :( )

But then how would they get that extra $60 out of all of us?

I want a metroid prime trilogy remaster not just a port.

I own a PS3 but I prefer waiting for superior versions so I'll buy remasters on PS4 regardless of if it had BC or not. Anyway let's not derail this thread anymore.

kotor collection (with the cut content from kotor 2) and modern warfare collection. Wouldnt mind shining force collection remake either

• The Dead Space Concordance (1, 2, 3, Ignition, Extraction, all DLC)

Then there's the case where I want classic Tomb Raider redone like they did with Anniversary.
