A games are usually of lesser quality. even though its just an opinion. i would rather buy some of the AA and AAA games that have come out and will come out in the next few months.

A games are good and alot of the time worth buying but i would understand if you wont want to pay full price for it (i never pay full price for a game no matter how high it scores)

Thats terrible are you really going to let a sites review score dictate what games you can play?I go off of multiple sites before making a final decision if there's no demo. So I usually go by IGN, GameSpot and Gametrailers reviews and then make a final decision based off of that. I don't think it's wrong to go off of reviews because everybody can't buy every single game to make a confirmed decision on their own. (and don't say rent, because that's not always an option either) And in my opinion 7.5 is kinda meh..so I think I'll pass (if it's rated like that across the board).
That's a decent score, I'll still be picking it up sometime next year. I enjoyed Mirror's Edge and that scored a 7.0 so I probably would enjoy this one as well.
Anyways, I'm glad this panned out as a good and solid game. It still has those trademark Pandemic issues, but at least it scored 7+. Mercs 2 and Conquest disappointed me so much.
The setting and visual style look awesome, but the gameplay looks like Mercenaries. And as someone who didn't even likethe first Mercenaries game, I'll pass.
huh.... well considering i loved mercenaries 2, i may have to buy this soon as the price get's low. so in a month considering the score and the number of sheeple gamers.
Getting it for Xmas regardless. Go on metacritic when more ppl have reviewed the game to get the proper average. Not now though because not many ppl have reviewed

Did I miss something? Isn't 7.5 called "Good" here? Tune into the Hotspot or most other podcast featuring editors/reviewers in the game industry and listen to how they talk about games that score 7.5. The only time that they spin 7.5 as being "good" is when they catch flack for giving a game a low score. The majority of time when they mention grades less than an 8, the other people usually respond like the game failed and the discussion usually jumps to all of the problems rather than how "good" the game is. 7.5 is only "good" because someone on a website wrote it. If the people actually reviewing the games don't feel that way then what's the point of all of us sitting around pretending that it is. Imo, 7.5 is "good if you really love the genre" or "good if you don't pay full price".
