You're all searching around the farm, wondering where we are. But no, we were here all along. It's the sheep who are complaining the most. I suppose I should say "Ex-sheep" at this point.chazasul
Boohoo, cry me a river. One bad showing and you jump ship. Well if this is how loyal Nintendo's fanbase is then I guess I can happily say I'll be buying all three of those games they showed and contributing to the "death of gaming".

lol at loyalty when the company that you are loyal to screws you up the a hole.
regardless, hopefully more hardcore games come for the wii down the line.
[QUOTE="Star67"]it was the worst conference, they could have at least showed Madworld, the one wii game i really want:cry:Oroin
Thank you.. why can't nintendo show what the people wanted??
did you know a new madworld trailer was shown afterwards? or were you too busy crying or something? see what you missedIdiots.... Nintendo has been pumping out kick ass first party titles over the past 1.5 years more than any other console...
now it's time for 3rd party games to pick up the slack... E3 is nowhere near the full story of what's to come..

Exactly how I feel. Nintendo are addressing the third party developers. Not the geeks who use E3 to determine who wins.
They addressed publishers too by showcasing two games that will sell millions in week one alone. Wii Music and Wii Sports Resort, which i still think looks amazing.
Well the conference got me hyped for the 1 to 1 motion sensing. It just looked too awesome to be true.

This E3 has me quite optimistic about Red Steel 2 because of that.
It wasn't a great conference but Nintendo never really shows their big hits at E3.
Weslii
When do Nintendo show their big hits usually?

You're the one crying here. Thought it seemed pretty obvious the way I worded it that I'm messing about. I'm just cracking fun at the conference, I'm still hopeful for what is to come for Wii.

How can we be loyal when they screw us over like this? Why should I be loyal when they seem hellbent on giving us games void of any depth?

You'd better be. No true gamer would think that Motion Plus wasn't cool.

Motion Plus doesn't have depth.
Right.

Regardless or not I've been the one who's excited for those three games (+COD5) and I'm a Cheep (Cow/Sheep).
"Ex-sheep"?
Are you a child or something? You arent entitled to a new Zelda every E3 so stop acting like Nintendo wronged you. The press conference was bad but all of them were. Sony's was the best but that had very little to do with the games, they managed to make their numbers segment the least boring by having the LBP guy run through everything. Very creative and very well done.
What will selling your console get you when the games you want are announced? They will be, you know it, I know it and Nintendo knows it. Wii is the market leader so shovel ware is expected but Nintendo is not a stupid company and neither are third parties. The PS2 wasnt destroyed by shovelware and third parties were drawn to sales figures back then, just as they will be now.
The Wii isnt a fad, it's close to outselling the GCN. These new games sell but few of them can top Nintendo's core franchises. It isnt like Retro or EAD are sitting on their thumbs now and E3 isnt over. E3 isnt over but in some senses it has been over for quite some time now: it's for investors and not gamers anymore. Once the half naked women left, the conference started to suck... Interesting.
