[QUOTE="-RPGamer-"][QUOTE="Thompsonwhore"] Well I watched one episode of Naruto and I couldn't stand it. Maybe it's just me, but I'm tired of all the animes that can't seem to decide whether they're a serious action show or a cutesy, good-moraled, slapstick comedy routine. Add in all the cheesy dialogue, cliche speeches about what it takes to be strong and then end it all with the melodramatic good guys always win and there you have modern anime.
And to top it all off, don't forget the swords with strange powers, superhuman speed and strength, the ability to jump a hundred feet in the air and the weird sty1es and colors of hair.

You watched one of two hundredtwenty of the first naruto series (not including the now running shuppiden series).
Do you honestly believe that one episode is going to give you a well rounded opinion on the content in the series? Less than 0.5%?
:?
To say that one episode is not going to be representitive of the others you may as well say that a Metal Gear Solid, Halo or Unreal Tournament game isn't going to be representitive of the rest. That an episode of InuYasha isn't going to be representitive of the rest.
Of course seeing one episode of Naruto is enough. Unless the series suddenly turns mature, violent, serious and realistic and I just saw the episode where they're just a wandering band of ninjas with rediculously looking fighting and cheesy dialogue.
But I doubt I'm wrong. The series does stick to it's core throughout, doesn't it?
Honestly, if you gave up on it after one episode you made a huge mistake. I hated the first three episodes I watches, but it continued to grow on me. Now, it's my favorite show by far, and you would be surprised how much deeper and more emotional it is than similar shows (DBZ, Bleach, etc...).
I'd really recommend you give it another chance.
