For anyone who hasn't played any of the Suffering games yet but are planning to, you have until September 1st to get them before they are removed from GOG.

It's too bad that we are seeing more older games being removed from digital game stores these days.

Remove the lower price version so we can charge you X4 the price.

So excited.

@uninspiredcup: @mrbojangles25: @getyeryayasout: Unlikely it is a remaster. I think it's a licensing issue. Made worse when it's a Midway IP. Under WB, anything that isn't Mortal Kombat is useless to them (and even there, they never did sort the licensing issues with MK9... you know, everyone's favorite Mortal Kombat game?).

They have yet to remaster games like Gauntlet Legends/Dark Legacy, Psi-Ops, or the Gen Six 3D MK's.

Not a series I had much interest in, but still a bummer when this happens.

@nintendoboy16: Oh, it's a Midway IP? That explains it then.

@judaspete: Yup! Guess I better get off my ass, get a GoG account and buy Stranglehold off there. I'll still main Steam. But any games not on there... well, might as well.

More and more games are disappearing from digital storefronts and yet digital is becoming more popular. I swear gamers are among the dumbest groups of people on the planet🤦‍♂️

What is truly dumb is you not realizing that GOG games are DRM free, so you are correct.🤭

@AcidTango: Thanks for the heads up. I've seen youtube video essays on the games. I never knew they were still available on PC and on GOG. I just bought them although I'm a bit mad that aren't $2 each anymore when I saw them listed as that earlier today.

I also just bought the ObsCure games off of Steam because considering they got delisted from GOG it could happen out of nowhere that they get delisted from Steam. and I would like to be able to play the games some day legally.
