The Thing About the Force Unleashed

Is I really think it will suck on all platforms. Wii, 360, PS3.

I think it may go a long way in making Wii ports from 360 easier being that now we know the Oblivion engine can run on Wii when Bethesda said it couldn't.

But, honestly no one, and I MEAN NO ONE has nailed the force as a cool power in SW games.

Honestly, I hope this game is good, the physics look good but i fear this will be a 6 hour game with great physics and a lousy story.

I mean Jedi Academy was fun but its story was garbage compared to KOTOR.

Thats what I want LucasArts. I don't want Fracture, I don't need another online shooter. I don't care if I can deterreform landscapes.

I don't understand how they can constantly ignore the pleas for this game.

It is the best game LucasArts has dealt with and I love Rogue Squadron and Shadows of the Empire.

I need to know a conclusion to Darth Revan's story even if BioWare doesn't do it.

Mass Effect will be ungodly good, I'm sure of it and i think it is solid contention for GOTY, but i'd rather they make KOTOR 3.

Story was terrible.

I'd love to see them do something with the Star Wars that is really good.

Where the Yuuzhan Vong (is that correct?) invade the new republic and nearly destroy it almost killing Luke Skywalker and Jacen Solo saves the day. I mean what would be a more bad ass Star Wars villian who is immune to the force in every way just coz they don't believe in it?

Plus, if you're reading the Legacy of the Force book series right now Jacen Solo is about to become the new Sith Lord and kill his Uncle Luke.

Tell me that isn't more exciting then more forced "nooooos!" from hayden christian? (not that he'll have a VO in the game, No!)

The more desperate you are the more we ignore it and personally, I think the PSP and 360 version will be good or okay and the ps3 will either suck bad or be goodnevereathim

But yes, I hope The Force Unleashed isnt like a Heavenly Sword. Great Graphics, Physics and Gameplay, yet its like 6 hours... Plus with little replayability value. Blahhh...

I also agree with you with how most of the other SW games I played, I quickly lost interest.

And I want KOTOR 3 too! However that would likely be done by Obsidian as Bioware is mainly about IP's now and I doubt would take it up again.

Personally I'd like to see a sequel/episode 4 version of Republic Commando. That game had an awesome "boots on the ground" feel to it in a Star Wars setting.

I'm almost a little sick of all the Star Wars games that heavily involve jedi. It can be fun, but not when every game is like that. Thats part of what made Shadows of the Empire and the Rogue Squadron games stand out some.
