If only you applied logic to your silly conclusions. Everybody knows that games are rated based on their GENRE. Nintendo is the only company that even TRIES to make games for the platformer & action/adventure genres. Therefore, they have a lock on those genres almost by default.

You cannot seriously tell me that you honestly believe those are the top games over all games ever made. That would be downright ignorance.

Someone could make a SUDOKU game that is so polished that it would garner 10's across the board. Would that mean EVERYONE on the planet will fall in love with this game? Would that mean this game is the best game in the world? If you even think for a second that the answer could even potentially be yes, then I am sorry for you.

Well maybe and maybe not..

but that's because i also have a wealth of stellar nes and snes nintendo games to choose from such as Mario 3/World, Link to the Past, and Super Metroid.

EDIT: You seem to be confusing peoples personal tastes in games with what the believe to be quality. They are two different things, though sometimes coincide. Evil Dead movies are some of my favourite movies, but I know Casablanca is a better movie despite not loving it myself.
