the TRUTH about Microsofts E3 08' showing

OK, so i do not have to make a 10 page thread about this, so here it is in a nutshell of truth:

Nobody, and i mean nobody(sony, MS, Nintendo...NOBODY) has to reveal nothing but Game of the year caliber games to claim success, or failure from lack there of.

MS did "just" what they set out to do: They updated some games that up untill now , had very little footage to show in the first place. Its not like these games have been out all year and " OHOH they're showing old games "......The games shown are all HIGH caliber games that will make gamers happy AND sell systems(not all, but some will)

Second: THey did what they needed to do....."let the casual" gamer know that they are NOT forgotten. The games that were shown for XBL are gonna be VERY good family and group games(Source: nobody has the lead this gen for this very reason).

And then, the end of the conference......Nuff Said.

p.s. E3 isnt even over....we still have last day surprises, and the days inbetween. SO....haters....lay off with all this spin on how you think they failed....cause as it stands inside and OUTside of SW's.....MS is the console to beat. and untill someone takes thier crown away from them...........

I had work all day so I came home expecting to see big news. I saw some Re5 stuff, Gears news, and FFXIII coming to 360. So as a PC+PS3+x360 owner, microsoft pretty much gave me nothing interesting... But e3 isn't what it was a few years ago maybe Sony can restore some faith and get me excited about something..Couth_

Your right, FF13 coming to the 360 isn't big news, its huge.

Well to the majority of people, it is huge.

GOW3 on the PS3 doesn't mean anything to me, I never liked the series, doesn't mean it doesn't count towards their showing.

The only three games that interested me were:

1. Gears of War2 which looked epic

2. Fallout 3 with exclusive DLC for 360

3. Portal on XBL arcade

And the new xbox live makeover looked interesting .

Thats great, but you come across like alot of people don't care, and you konw thats not true. This site that we are on went down for like 20-30 minutes when that was announced. So if that is what you meant, at least try to say that or make it to were people could understand that, just dont try to make it like it isn't a big deal, because you know it is.
