I think (nexgenwars) it was a site that gave fairly reasonable predictions, and overall, somewhat accurate, though not based on many facts.

VGchartz another site that gives somewhat reasonable predictions, though not very accurate or up to date.

Console wars, now at http://en.konsolewars.com/ seems to have the most accurate tally, but again, it's accuracy is in question, though most likely the closest of the 3.

All in all, I think all of them are usually off on at least one of the consoles.

Nexgenwars and VGcharts are both innaccurate.  VGcharts seems to update some numbers early and some later (plus they're estimates), and Nexgenwars seems to just be estimates.

I don't really know any better sites though.
