After stating the PS3 has 8 cores which is ridiculous, i stopped watching. It has one core and 8 SPE's, 2 can't even be used for gaming. The data the SPE's hold are tiny and are nothing compared to a core. The 360 has 3 cores :).

Actually, they can't, SPE's only have 1 hardware thread and lack Branch Prediction and General Purpose Processing power. You don't want to argue with me son, you'll lose.

Same speed as the main PPE of the PS3, well thats obvious its gotta be able to keep up with the main core, but they are not Cores, and the amount of data they hold is tiny. They are just tiny extra bits of memory, which takes some of the baggage of the main core. The 360 on the other hand has 3 cores, why do you think all the new computers have more cores?, because more cores=better. Don't get me wrong the main core of the PS3 is very good at trudging through data, but is not really great for making video games, more like maths calculations. Why do you think its so hard to make games on it?. Overall the 360 CPU is better with games than the PS3. Also as a whole the GPU is slightly better than the PS3's. Don't get me wrong i love my PS3 but just get the facts first lol ;)

LOL at them listing Star Ocean as PS3 exclusive, also why did they list World in Conflict and Overlord as lost 360 exclsuive, World in Conflict isn't even out on the 360, and been out on the PC for since last year, and Overlord came out on the 360/PC.Chaos_HL21

1. Both the RSX and Xenos run at 500Mhz.

2. The RSX is 256MB, the Xenos is 512MB.

3. Did that video point out that the 360's memory is unified?

4. Did that video point out that the 360 has 256GB/s of bandwidth for its Frame Buffer?

5. Did that video point out the Xenos puts twice the polygons on screen than the RSX?

6. Did that video point out the Xenos puts out almost 30 Billion MORE SOP/s than the RSX?

7. Did that video point out that SPE's are NOT cores?

Uh, no, the Xenos puts out 96 Billion SOP/s, FLOPs are not as important as Polygons/s, SOP/s, SM and efficiency, you lose, again...

The RSX has 24 pixel pipes (each of which performs 5.7 ops) 5.7ops *24 Pixel Pipelines=136.8 shader ops per clock.

The RSX is clocked at 500MHZ *136 shader ops per clock =68000 (or 68,000,000,000)

The Xenos

48 shader units * 4 ops per cycle = 192 shader ops per clock

Xenos is clocked at 500MHZ *192 shader ops per clock = 96 billion shader ops per second.

Alot of the 'exclusive they listed weren't really exclusive. Just Cause, Overlord, World in Conflict were also on the PC so not exclusive, sofar the Ace Combat 6 (and should be a lost PS3 exclusive because the past Ace Combat games were on the PS2) coming to the PS3 is a rumor. Eternal Sonata is coming to the PS3 but may not come to NA or other regions.

Also when they showed that 360 is hindering GTA 4, it was only quoting part of what Dan Houser said. He said "both have enormous challenges"

In case you didn't know, the PS2 put out TWICE the FLOPs of the original Xbox and we see how that turned out, that should tell you how important that number is for gaming.

There is no processor on the planet yet that can actually make Ray Tracing a common occurance, Shaders right now are more important than Ray Tracing. Try again, your epic failing is ammusing me.
