Of the two sequels to MGS 4, one is multiplatform and the other is not on the PS3. The sequel to valkyria chronicles is also not on the PS3

Instead of spending millions Developing Killzone 2, and Infamous, Sony could have let's say made COD5 and GHWT Timed Exclusives for three months.

Overall, Gamers get less games, but Sony makes more money...maybe, by selling more hardware and copies of COD5/GHWT.

As far as the PS3 sequels being on PSP, it's funny that you mention that, it's definitely proof of the times we live in.

it's a mixture of both tbh. they are broke

i guess the point i'm making is that the develoeprs who made those games weren't happy with their sales, or at least not happy enough to make sequels exclusive to the PS3

what this also means is that any third party eclusive coming to the PS3 will end up on the 360 or another system at some point. that much is guaranteed

heck even the first party stuff sells like crap unless it's bundled (see uncharted and motorstorm)

so you have a console with zero third party exclusive support. like the gamecube

I think that has more to do with the pricing and the functions of the console itself rather than the games. The games are great, but many people use their PS3's as VERY CHEAP media centers, with a few games on the side. The games don't sell as much hence they don't get sequels.

Age of third party exclusives is over. Except for the usual timed 360 6-month beta, followed by flexed out re-release on PS3. (ie. Bioshock, NGS, Red Alert 3, etc.). Good thing Sony has Insomniac, Santa Monica, Sucker Punch, and Naughty Dog. Polyphony Digital only makes GT, but they do a hell of a job. Zipper only makes SOCOM, but we shall see what MAG is like (needs a pack-in mic BTW). Team ICO has made two masterpieces, and Last Guardian looks like more of the same. Does anyone remember Psygnosis? G-Police, Colony Wars and Wipeout. What ever happened to them?wstfld

First of all, your words are misleading by saying that the other is not on the PS3 but it's still coming to a Sony console (PSP), and MGSR is not exclusive to 360.
