The unofficial hype thread of Conduit

There have been possibly 5 or more threads about conduit every second stating whether or not this game is hyped. This game has been compared to Next-Gen graphics (maybe if the geometry was better than basic maya), and a techincal marvel(mad world technically was superior). This game though has online deathmatch, and other triple A features that are in every shooter, and the controls work.

IMO i'm gonna go with A. I hope it scores better, but I doubt it.

6-7, looks pretty horrible if you ask me.

GS will give it an A rating most likely.

MoH and CoD are both AA on the wii and this looks to be a LOT better. It will atleast score an 8.

I say 6.5! I think High Voltage are way over there heads believing that this game will be the Wii's "greatest game." Sure it may have a great control scheme, but that alone won't help this game score any higher.

I say 6.0-8.0 but most likely an A since GS is unpredictable.

We shall see, although I just find the Conduit to be very generic. Not to mention how tired I am playing FPS.

A solid 6.0-6.5.

If Dark Athena gets a 7.0, a lesser game will not do nearly as well.

the game looks better. It is actually one of the best wii ports this generation, and a great fps for the wii. They didn't just 'make an ugly wii game'. And yes that screenshot of conduit is still ugly compared to that cod WaW shot.

Well, according to Gamespot, Two Worlds is a better game than Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena (including the remake of Butcher Bay). :evil:

I'm sorry, but those CoD screens look much worse than those conduit screens. Conduit also has better online and controls. And the single player in CoDWaW was pretty weak, so there seems little reason why this game would score less than WaW.

The Conduit makes HAZE looks like Crysis on very high settings. With that said i dont care haha. Wait, (i have a wii i do care). I'll say 7.0 or 7.5 cause its the wii and its judged by last gen standards.

Nope.

Dark Athena is quite a bit different than Butcher Bay. The Scarab gun provides a completely different experience in Dark Athena. Also, Butcher Bay (a 4 year old game)is way more advanced and varied in its gameplay than The Conduit.

And you haven't played Dark Athena. It goes both ways. Looking from the outside in, the gameplay in The Conduit is fairly run-of-the-mill. The premise still interests me, like the All-Seeing-Eye, but it looks like any other shooter out there.
