The whole reason ''360s got more games than ps3'' is a joke.

While people here keeps saying 360 is better cause it got more games than ps3 is a joke. What is the point of owning any console or machines if it breaks down so fast?

How come 360 gets away with its quality? Stop saying "cause 360 got more games" cause that is a joke.If this was happening to your PC (We know PC got the more+best games) and your PC keeps breaking on you. I don't care whether you got the best games or not, your PC is still crap. If this was happening to a PC or my own PC, I would still call it trash. So how come 360 get special treatment?

NOTE: I got 2 xboxes at home. I bought my first one new around 2003 without needing warranty or extended warranty and i am still using it to this day. I have so much confidence in its quality that i bought another a 2nd xbox used from a coworker in 2007. Both is doing great with my around 25 games collection. I never own a ps1 or ps2 but my older brother's ps2 never broke down on him though.

Whether the rrod warranty is 3yr or 4 or 5 or whatever it is going to be. Wait! ,My 2 xboxes at home got no warranty. And no more MS support. Yet, I have no worries that when I get home tonight I can still use it. 360 just doesn't give that same peace of mind.

LOL PS3 is a better value than the xbox. Its got more features and its HD ready console unlike breakbox. Ontop of that it dosent break every few months.

what do the selection of games have to do with reliability? yes, 360's are more unreliable than ps3, but that doesn't mean all 360s are guaranteed to break. i've had mine nearly 2 years and it's still going fine. this is in strak contrast to the problem that ps3 suffers from and that's that every single one of them areaffected bythecompletely rubbishselection of games and what good is a reliable console with no games to play on it?

hopefully this'll change in the coming year but then microsoft are also sorting out their reliability problems so i guess it'll be all even come christmas and you fanboys won't have anything to argue over

I think the whole cost argument has been thrown out since the appearance of the 40GB. Premium plus all those other things you need and compare that to the 40GB. The price argument comes out to be almost same.If you include LIVe, then the 360 will eventually cost more. But truely, the whole price argument has been thrown out cause they most cost around the same to buy now.

most of those are available on the 360 so have no bearing onmy argument at all. when gran turismo 5, mgs 4, god of war 3 and the new final fantasy are out then i'll be glad i spent the money i did on a ps3. but as it stands the 360 has a better range of games that you cant play on ps3 than the other way round

Well you said your brother did did but you never owned a PS2. The PS2 seemed to have the most games and guess what they had harware problems. Guess what, they never had any 3 year warranty too. And guess what, despite the faulty hardware the PS2 had, it kept on delivering game after game which made that console supreme. The Xbox 360 is this gen PS2. Microsoft already dealt the past and present faulty hardware, and once it has gone instinct, the game after game releasing will continue. And the Xbox 360 will continue to be the leader of the real next gen video gaming system.

All 360s do not have falcon in them yet. Some still using the older cpu. If you did not sent it in yet, it is probably still using the older cpu. It is a design flaw in the 360 which can only be fixed entirely if there is a recall.

Bad hardware has nothing to do with the quality of the games library. The 360 has a fantastic games library but the hardware sucks.

Your point is invalid. It isn't a joke, it's pretty much common knowledge. My best gaming moments in 2007 were on the 360 and XBL.

What do you mean by "breaks down so fast"? Its been 2 years and my machines hasn't broken once. One person's problem doesn't equal everyones problem. Some dude on the street told you his X360 broke.... doesn't mean everybody's X360 will break too.

More importantly, the RROD warranty is still in effect so if your X360 does encounter this problem, you will be out for 2 weeks but atleast you get to play and choose from more and better games.

That's sad. People are so blind and don't get to enjoy the great 360 games. Face it, people who bought the PS3 at launch and in the first 6 months fell for the marketing and the name. I'm getting a refurbished PS3 next week for $299 Canadian and saved a butt load of money. I got to spend all the money I saved on great 360 games. Please don't call me a lemming, I hate that. I own all Sony brand consoles exept the PS3. Sony Fanboys missed out on a great year of gaming. Fanboys are LOSERS! I have enjoyed 2007 for gaming more than any other year since my Atari 2600, and most of that was gaming on my 360. I wich people would buy gaming consoles for THE GAMES, and not the name of the system.
