The Wii as a second console

Some of you like the Wii... some of you hate it. I'm not sure of it yet. Now listening to a couple of podcast and reading some post. I've noticed that most people that own a Wii have a 360 or a PS3. I own all 3. I'm glad I've got a Wii... but can't say I'd be happy if that's the only console I had. I'd feel like I was a generation behind somehow... Maybe it's because I'm a graphics whore and a technophile. So here goes.

So far just a wii, but I will be getting a 360 later this year not because I dont think the wii is good enough to stand alone but because the 360 was much better than the original xbox.samusarmada

I have a Wii and a 360 thus far, probably getting a PS3 late this year or early next year. If you only have one console any generation you're missing out on a lot.TyrantDragon55

Not really, you'll still be missing out on some great games. Unless some of your friends have the other two and are willing to let you borrow them.

Where is option, "None of the Above"?

Why would someone pay 250+ for a peice of hardware with limited functionality?  If a developer makes a game that requires (X) units of (Y=optical format, processor speed, etc) that game should function on any machine that meets those requirements. 

I'll purchase each console when they meet the following critera:

Each console must have at least:

ALL CONSOLES:  10 High Quality RPG's, 5 High Quality Shooters, 5 High Quality Strat games, 5 High Quality Sports Games, 5 High Quality Games of Other Genres.

Price per console (quality of hardware)

PS3 -- 300 USD

XBOX360 -- 300USD

WII -- 100 USD

Ah well looks like you aren't getting a console it seems. No chance of having 5 high quality strategy games on a console. Even if you remove that criteria I reckon 2009 for the 360, PS3 2012 and Wii 2010/2011

Well, I buy the third parties as I go along.  The first parties are the main reason I bought the console.
