Before cows and lemmings go psycho on me, reread my topic title. Nowhere did I bash your system or games of choice, and nowhere did I say the Wii had the best line-up, so don't flip out. And yes, I agree the Wii has had a slow start when it comes to software, but so did the 360 and PS3.
The way I see it Nintendo has 3 system sellers this year for the hardcore/casuals: Super Mario Galaxy, Super Smash Brothers Brawl, and Metroid Prime Corruptions (I know Metroid isn't as big of a system seller as the other 2, but if the controls end up working great, then I could see it selling extremely well.)
Then I see 3 system sellers this year for the non-gamers: Big Brain Academy, Wii music and Wii Heath Pack. Do not underestimate these games because look at what wii sports has done for the system
Then you have tons of just great games for the rest of 2007: Super Paper Mario, No More Heroes, Pokemon Battle Revolution, Mario Strikers Charged, Resident Evil: UC, Fire Emblem, Opoona, MySims, Disaster: Day of Crisis, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers, Animal Crossing, Guitar Hero, Dewy's Adventure, Manhunt 2, Battalion Wars 2, Project HAMMER, Forever Blue, Sword of Legendia, Dragon Quest Swords, The Godfather: Blackhand Edition, Heatseeker, Harvest Moon Wii, . I would love to put Sadness but I think it got bumped to 2008. And who knows what else Nintendo or other developers have in store. I mean new games a being announced every few weeks now. There is now a rumor that NiGTS is coming to the Wii. So anything is possible.
Then don't forget all the VC titles yet to be released: Super Mario RPG, Super Metroid, SoTN, Chrono Trigger, Secret of Mana, Earthbound, Star Fox 64, Mega Man series, Pilotwings 64, DK64, and many more. Plus all the great games that have already been released.
For a systems first year, I say that is a pretty decent list of games right there.
