The Wii has more AAA titles (including Multiplats) then the PS3 on Gamerankings

Lets be honest here folks Metacritic or Gamerankings are better sites to look at to determine what game to get. Yes we are chatting on Gamespot but that doesn't mean they are always right. Those sites both take an average of all the ratings which is a much better system. If you look at Metacritic or Gamerankings to determine the most AAA titles the Wii has more then the PS3.

Dude even a MOD once posted on SW saying relying on GS alone is not a good idea.

I wonder what the Sony fans who are anti Nintendo have to say about this. I am starting to dout wether I should even by a PS3 this Christmas at all the bad news I constantly see flooding in.

I was merely saying something relevant to the topic. It's all under facts anyway, there are actually reasons why PS3 isn't doing that well at the moment.

True but I could see myself enjoying COD 4 and Oblivion a lot more then the AAA games on Wii. Personal preference I guess and the 360 has the most games that appeal to me by far, since the PS3 shares some one those games it would be my next choice. I'm too much of a graphics whore for Wii, hey at least I'm honest about it :)TiberiusKane

You could play those on the 360. In addition you could play 8 other AAA games on the 360 and for $100 less then the PS3.

Honestly I feel sorry for any fanboy who thinks the Wii has better games than the PS3. The poster even lists two GAMECUBE games that were ported to the Wii.

Well this is ridiculous.When a cow uses GR for ownage he gets a barrage of replies that GS only matters here and when a sheep does this everybody agrees with him.

Anyways to the topic,IMO if anybody actually thinks that one-on-one the wii has better games than the ps3 then i dont consider you a real gamer.But before you get mad on this it is IMO.

And including re4 and tp as wii AAA's makes things flawed.Both of those games are playable on a GC.Then why not include the other GC games as wel which are playable on the wii but just doesnt have the wii logo on it.We should atleast include GOW2 as a ps3 AAA cuz it came out after the ps3 launced and is playable on a ps3.

Take a look at the highest rated games of every year at gamerankings and then at gamespot and you will instantly recognize that gamerankings is FAR more accurate than any single website.And i dont claim it to be perfect.

Gamerankings has overinflated reviews. So many random review sites that throw out high scores like its nobodys business.

End of discussion. PS3 has a better overall library. it'll be a smidgen better when Uncharted comes out this week as well. (Not included in this count)

Yeah but see, All GCN games can play on the Wii, Ps2 games can't be played on ALL Ps3's... sad, I know.
