The Wii HD >>> 360&PS3 When can we expect it???

I want a Wii HD i'm holding out for it. I'm hearing it is coming a High Def Wii

I need all info i can get on this? This will really be an amazing system then.

I don't know, i am guessing maybe nintendo might enter the next generation early with HD graphics, and hard-disk, basically same system.

kind of ps1.ps2,ps3 kind of Thing. Updates on the inside not major jumps. Nintendo had major jumps, cartridge, mini-cds, motion-control full-cd. all different looks and controllers.

playstation was ps1,ps2,ps3 with same everything almost except for outside looks and additional options.

I am guessing its entering next generation early because this system was made for NOW not 3 years ahead. 3-4 years ahead SD will be very old technology. While 360 and ps3 will survive , nintendo needs an update

Nintendo will do it when they can do it for cheap. When it costs them nothing...they will charge you double for it.

I could be wrong, but an HD Wii isn't even planned, and I haven't even heard a rumor about it. What you may be thinking of is a Wii with an HDD (hard drive) to save more games. I think that may be what you were thinking of. The cpu and gpu of the Wii is not capable of HD output.

50gb of memory on a single disc is the power of blu-ray. The word power can be used in different terms. You'll know this when a developer maxes out ALL of blu-rays storage space. Even MGS4 was 30gb. We'll probably see it near the end of PS3's life cycle. OutlawStarXIII

Taking up more space does not = better game. Too many people seem to think that way. The only reason many games even take up that kinda space is because developers know they have a lot to play with and dont bother compressing anything or putting any effort in to make things as small a file size as possible. Look at Resistance; it takes up heck loads of space, yet was it any better for it?

No I'm telling you it is being heavily rumored about an HD Wii Hi Def not hard drive.

I thought maybe some of the so call Einsteins thinking on this SW forums would be all over this. I guess not. Guess we really are a bunch of BS smack talkers with no real sense:lol:

Uggghh, and thats why PS3 games look better than xbox360,,,oh hang on.

There systems in development for all three players whether it's the PS4 Xbox 720 or HD Wii/ Super Wii or whatever you want to call it but we will not see any for a while.

It is my opinion that they will all be released between 2010 and 2012, I also believe that the 720 will be again first to market in 2010 with a new control scheme close to the Wii with slightly more power then the 360 this will fail and be the worst selling xbox to date and end the MS console bid.

Now do to the success of the Wii I don't expect to see a new HD Wii until 2012 this will correspond with the PS4 once again Sony will lose even more market share to Nintendo.

with wii's current power it can't handle high definition without sacrificing a lot of it's power and all the old games won't be able to be playable on HD. But, it is possible Nintendo is making a completely new system new system right now and I'm sure that'll be HD.
