The Wii is actually pretty boring!!

so you want me to take a picture of my Wii and post it.....Just ask me a question about the wii or take my word for it....and if you dont belive me i dont really care.

I had crazy fun with my Wii for about the first week. My roommates and I were having Hellish fun with even games like Monkeyball, hitting home runs and everything.

I haven't played it in a good couple of months though (apart from a few 10 minute quicksessions every few weeks or so out of boredom... but I don't count that as serious play). I don't know, I'm sure once MP is released I'll pick up the Wiimote again but the mini and party games grew really thin between my friends and I.

Wicked fun at first, got old for me.

Then again, this shouldn't matter to anyone but myself.

To each his/her own. but really, try some other games.. theirs some shockers, like Sonic and Godfather, hell even DBZ was great.

More games are coming out.

Thats because there is no games out there worth mentioning yet....When the next Mario Game comes out im sure ill play that none stop i was even planning on getting manhunt for the Wii this week but i read just a few hours i wont be able to.

First off, if you don't already own a DVD player......

Secondly, Going on 7 months now, and the Wii is still selling out. You people act like suddenly everyone is gonna look at the PS3 or 360 and go "purty" and ditch the Wii. If that was gonna happen, it would've happened already, because frankly, 360 and PS3 already look loads better. Yet the Wii is still selling amazingly well. odd.

No i was using the no dvd thing to point out whata piece of crap the Wii is. Its worth about $100. and they are charging $250 plus all the other crap you need for it. Its not a gaming system its a toy for old people and little kids

Well i know i wouldnt pay an extra 50 euro for a bit of motion control....and i would just find it tedious playing the game again...ive already completed it on the GC a few times

..and only 1/3 seems to really exist at this point. Disaster has been MIA and Hammer is rumored to be DOA.

So whats your problem with the Wii then? If you think it will bring out great games then you wont be bored with it as soon as you buy them. I doesn't matter how many the 360 gets, the Wii is still has good games.

Ahh so i dont think the Wii is gods gift to Earth so there is no way i could own one....my brother has one and its in my front room now.....and BTW another complaint i have is when your web browzeing the writing is tiny....i have a SD TV, Mabye its diffrent on a HD TV.

ill take your word for it cuz i feel the same way. the only games i play on it now are games that don't use lousy motion sensning controls like vc games

so i noticed you said that the controller wasn't comfortable for zelda. I couldn't disagree more. I'm playing Wind Waker now and i'm telling you. it's much less comfortable than the split design of the wiimote. I can't just relax with my hands at my sides. also the aiming with the analog sucks bad. I can't get used to analog after using the mouse most of my gaming life. the wiimote was the only thing that felt as natural.Ontain

My little brother got the Wii at Christmas (with a lot of persuasion from myself) and it was great for the first week or so i liked Wii Sports and Wii play was ok too. But after i got sick of them pretty quickly there was nothing left, I mean there is just a limit on how much fun you can have making Mii's. Zelda was good but not half as good as ocarina of time and using the Wii controller for that game felt uncomfortable. Even my 9 year old brother is sick of it....and the worst thing is most of the new games are just ports of last gen. Sure its a nice family console and even a decent second console for a while but not for real gamers.Arsenal140

I know what the problem is. You're buying all the wrong games.

The only "last gen" port I have in my collection is The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, and I currently have five Wii games.

i don't see your point. how does a 360 or a pc make the wiimote any less natural feeling? are you saying you're just used to a 360 controller and on the pc a mouse. personally for shooting i don't see how you get more natural than a wii type device or a light gun.

I wouldn't call the Wii boring at all. Wii sports is a blast to play with friends, and so are some mini-games.

But, the Wii does need the software support to justify itself, along with a game that uses the Wiimote in a fashion that lives up to the hype it has around it. It hasn't yet.

its because i play games through other mediums so im less use to the wii-mote.....and i have to disagree the mouse is feels like an extension of my arm at this point and i love the 360 pad aswell. but maybe when a real shooter comes out for the wii....i avoided red steel because i heard it was crap my views will change but i really doubt it.

Funny, I feel the same way at the moment. I don't know if I'll keep hold of it for later releases, it's gathering to much dust as it is. Doesn't help that I'm in the UK and Manhunt 2 isn't coming out here and Paper Mario is missing in action. It's sucking real hard at the moment and doesn't deserve to be selling so well
