The Wii is crap and EGM even says so on the front of their new mag.

It is entitled, " Wii Crap. Why bad games are flooding the system". The article itself talks about how crappy Wii games are and they even have an industry guy being quoted as saying if you have cheap, crap games, that is the sign of a healthy system. :shock:They go on saying how Nintendo is leaving the hardcore gamers behind and is strictly casual now. It also talks about the approval process and how Nintendo has no such thing, unlike Sony and MS, which is probably why they have crappy games to begin with.

As I've thought for awhile, Nintendo really began to falter with the N64. That system still had some great games and was a decent system, but Nintendo has been struggling since. At least this is the impression I've gotten.

They don't have many of the games to boost their console like they did in the past. There's not many games I look forward to on a Nintendo system; mainly its only Zelda, because the series still puts out good games and made the transition to 3D very nicely. Other than that, I take either Sony or Microsoft over Nintendo.

I love the feel of the wiimote. Playing RE4 with it is pretty awesome.

I just wish their were more games like that on the system. And don't just list all of the nintendo titles...good lord...they aren't enough so stop acting like they are.

The only thing that surprises me is the sales. The Wii has a piss poor lineup of games, with a few good Nintendo games here and there, yet it sales great. :| The only thing I can gain from that is the fact Nintendo judged the market better than Sony and MS, in a sense that people weren't ready for the true next gen yet so Nintendo says lets make a GCN 1.5, give it a nice new white shiny look, with a flashing blue disk drive,a new interface and wand controller, put last gen games on it, mostly old PS2 or GCN rehashes, add in old NES, SNES, N64 games and call it the Wii. I guess the PS2 still selling like mad for the last 2 years should have tipped Sony and MS off a little better about the market. Nintendo was obviously paying attention.

3rd party? not a whole lot right now...i think RE: Umbrella Chronicles will be good, along with no more heroes and soul caliber legends. the system is less than a year old. if i remember, the 360 didn't have a whole lot either (oh, and PDZ sucked, despite the gamespot score). and the PS3...uh...2009? hey, if you hate the system so much, don't play it. this isn't a dictatorship. i was simply arguing that yes, there are indeed fun games for the Wii. drunken Wii sports at a party more than warrants a purchase.

EGM is one magazine in a thousand who are quietly saying the same complaint.

Nevertheless, that is regarding to third party games, not first party or the entire lineup.
