of course you don't know many people who own a wii - the wii is not really marketed towards 16 year old kids

its more so marketed towards nongamers. you know, grown adults who haven't played games before in their lives.

i know several people in their mid twenties who are wii owners, newly weds who buy it at the bride's request, middle aged women at work who bought it and talk about how much fun it is. these people also wouldn't consider owning an xbox 360 or PS3, b/c they'd consider playing games like GTA, Halo, MGS and Final Fantasy to be a rather "immature" form of entertainment.

on the contrary, my 16 year old little cousins are the ones who buy the PS3's and xbox 360's.
