There was also a big backlash for Gears of War in Germany, leading it to be banned there. Ergo, X360 gamers and fanboys will never live with the fact that the X360 has violent games on it.

As long as the machine supports ALL types of games for ALL ages and ALL types of users, I really don't care what complaints people have. If they don't want to see or play those games then don't buy them. Just like they don't buy films they don't want to watch, but those films still get made and can still be played on their movie playing device...

Well, its biggest flaw is probably that it's too short, I laughed.

The whole "I'm shocked and ashamed of what you did there!"-thing is a bit funny too because there happens enough **** on this planet on a daily base that's much much worse than anything the general public likes to care about.

I can understand when someone who was directly involved in something like this is a bit pissed about it, but the general public pretending to be shocked imho is just a bunch of hypocrites with no taste for bad taste (a bit exaggerated for good measure). ;)

i heard a lot of people say similar stuff get it trougth your everyone A GAME DOES NOT NEED TO BE VIOLENT TO BE GOOD, there are violnt games that i like to play (RE series, GOW) but if someone thinks that a game is good just because its violent then they are mistaken

Well, GTA has had a huge backlash on every console it has launched for.
But the whining parents are luckily a minority of the market.

 Afaik indexing a game isn't the same as banning the game. If one game is put on the German Index, it just means that the game can't be advertised or shown on shelves, altho I'm not sure bout the latter. But the game is still legaly available to mature persons, meaning 18+.

 Sometimes I wish more games would be put on the Index list globably and that the 18+ rule would be the holy grail. However my wish fails, becasue sometimes even 50 year olds act as 10 year old :).  

While it may be wrong to call the Wii a "kiddy system" you really can't deny that more kids probably play it than any other systemTheDarkDisciple

It's up to Nintendo to provide the hardware for publishers to release their content on, not to police them. I think Nintendo is doing a good job this gen in doing that and releasing their own titles to satisfy the households who will not be buying Manhunt 2.

I find it hilarious that so many people here don't know the difference between E and EC

Manhunt 2 is violence to a degree where it's just trying too hard. Might be a fun game, but really a lot of what they do is unnessessary.

On topic, wii isn't a fisher price toy for ages 2-6. It's fun for any age group.

Accually everyone who has only a Wii ( me included) was just to poor to buy a PS3 :cry:
