The 360 is funner.. A gimmicky remote doesn't automaticly make your console the second coming. Untill the Wii gets some worthwhile exclusives that argument doesn't fly.

Its a fad, Gamecube had great sales at the start of last gen but we all know that stopped. The same thing will happened to the Wii. By 2008 the sales of the Wii will be decreasing while the sales of Xbox 360 and PS3 will be increasing. It will be to the point the only good games will be during the holiday season.

Handhelds....
Nintendo always had great sales with handhelds but they didn't really have great sales with consoles since SNES. Plus some of the garbage there coming out for the Wii is leading me to think the momentum will last. I mean really who in their right mind would play Cooking Mama: Cook off for the Wii? Not me. Too much games for non-gamers not enough games for hardcore gamers....

Right..... LOL :) the wii is very cheap and hard to find which automatically makes it a must have Item. I have one... don't play it very much but it makes a nice paper weight...
Because it is cheap and has a lot of fun games, and can change videogames as we know them so that they are a lot better, and for the virtual console games... :|

.....and those exclusives are right around the corner, within the next 6 months, starting with Super Paper Mario :)
Buty if price was the only factor they still would have bought the GC. Obviously there were other aspects to the decision which made them decide to buy the more expensive PS2
