A lot??? I know about 3...maybe 4 and that's it! But yea...I do bash it because I don't want it to be popular and take over something that's great!! Everyone I meat I tell them to get a PS3 or an Xbox 360 or if they have the $$ a gaming PC but don't even touch a Wii!! And you know what....90% of the people agree with me!! Well its a shame that they do not see why the Wii is the best, but the sales show that a lot of people do. It is in the lead by far and this will continue.

Lets face it... the 360 has great games but it is too expensive and has faulty hardware... and Microsoft tries to nickel and dime you to death with all the little things you need to buy which eventually put the console at a very high price point. Ps3 is justa waste of time and money at this point... no games out and few upcoming besides MGS4... too expensive even at the new $400 price point (no b/c)... and a poor controller. Wii on the other hand is only $250 and there are fewextra things you need to buy for it. Games are cheaper than the other systems and the possibilities for the controller are endless... plus the amazing Wiiware is going to revolutionize games and finally save indie developers from being forced to develop for either Pc or be smothered by Microsoft on Xbla. also the game selection is AMAZZING just look at what is coming out for the rest of the year... Super mario Galaxy (game of the year easily) no More Heroes, Zack & wiki Fire Emblem, Battalion wars 2, Endless ocean, and more. Next year looks way better with too many games to even start naming. The 360 isn't particularly expensive (especially now), and I've had mine for a year with no hardware faults, so technically my 360 works just as well as my Wii. Do you have a 360? Because I find it hard to believe that you think the Wii is so amazing while still having a system with 10x the quality games. I admit that the Wii is cool, and so far I've enjoyed its big titles (RE4, MP3, hopefully Mario Galaxy next month), but c'mon; about 80% of the Wii's library is absolute garbage. The fact that it sells so well is more a testament to the ignorant public than it is to the quality of the Wii, because right now, the Wii doesn't have much more to show for itself than the PS3. It's fairly obvious that you're extremely biased towards Nintendo ("Super Mario Galaxy [game of the year easily]"), so arguing probably won't do any good, but in all truthfulness, every console on the market is "must-own" in some way. The PS3 has built in blu-ray, so for those with an HDTV you'll get the most kick out of the PS3, the 360 has by far the best selection of games, and the Wii has a new remote which makes playing the fairly run of the mill Wii titles fun. I like my Wii, but I don't particularly feel that it's really shown itself worthy of the sales and hype surrounding it to this moment.

sold a lot of consoles but not so much on software sales.

wii has good games but most of those games dont appeal to me. i havent played on my wii since august. none of the upcoming games that were announced appeal to me. smg looks great and i think its goty contender, but im not a fan of platform games. also im more of a fan of online mp games over single player games.

First of all your points on the 360 price are a little off. M$ doesn't force anyone to buy anything. There are different SKU's that fit different price ranges and there have been price drops to increase sales. M$ sells the 360 at that price because it sells well at that price. Why would any business sell something for a lower price when people will still buy it at it's current higher price range?. Alot of the things they supossedly nickel and dime you for are not needed like you say but add on that you'll buy if you want them, but they are not needed. I bought my Elite and didn't have to buy anything else to make it work.

The hardware is faulty though.

The PS3 is a waste of money? You have a problem with M$ nickel and dimeingus with "needed" accessories yet your upset that the PS3 comes with everything standard and you pay for it all at once? Good logic there. If you think it's a waste ofmoney because of a lack of games then you've been mislead. System Warriors love to go on and on about "teh PS3 has NO games" but I've played about30 games not not all of them perfect games but still fun none the less. As for being a waste of time, I don't even know what you mean by that.Not only have I played gamesbut I use the blueray player quite a bit too and I'm glad it was added even though I didn't buy it for that.

I played my Wii like crazy after I got it on launch day. A majority of titles were sub-par and barely enjoyable. The wiimote is rarely used to it's full potential and motion controls are added just for the sake of adding them at times. I've played my Wii once since I beat Metroid Prime and that's unfortunate but there aren't many titles that I want to buy.This just my opinion but the ONLY must have title for the Wii this holiday season is SMG.

I buy a ton of games and rent even more. I enjoy my PS3 and 360 almost everyday while my Wii gets played on occasion. I would love to see more quality titles come out for the wii but it's just taking a really long time to happenI guess.

Exactly. If you have the money for all 3, then you can't possibly lose. However, for someone who isn't looking for a collection of party games and the occasional "hardcore" game (Zelda, Metroid, etc.), the Wii is not your system. At this point, the 360 appeals to the most gamers, the Wii appeals to the most non-gamers (which for us gamers, is not helpful), and the PS3 appeals to the HD-fanatics.

I played my Wii like crazy after I got it on launch day. A majority of titles were sub-par and barely enjoyable. The wiimote is rarely used to it's full potential and motion controls are added just for the sake of adding them at times. I've played my Wii once since I beat Metroid Prime and that's unfortunate but there aren't many titles that I want to buy.This just my opinion but the ONLY must have title for the Wii this holiday season is SMG.

I buy a ton of games and rent even more. I enjoy my PS3 and 360 almost everyday while my Wii gets played on occasion. I would love to see more quality titles come out for the wii but it's just taking a really long time to happenI guess.

After re-reading your orignal post I think I may have jumped the gun on saying your wrong as most of what was posted was opinion. Fanboy opinion, yes , but your entitled to feel that way. I should have responded like so:

Well for example I do not have a HDTV. To play xbox 360 I have to hook it up to a monitor... and I need a cable to do that. Then i like to play with friends... so extra controllers. I also need to be ABLE to play so recharge kits. then if you want to get online but are not close to a port (like me) you need a long cable or a weird set up unless you want to buy the $100 wireless adapter. PS3 still has some of these problems but the main thing is the fact that it is $500 if you want a good version (too many good PS1/2 games for $400 to be anything more than a bad joke) and there are no games... by no games I mean no exclusive games worth playing. Resistance is lame as is Motorstorm. Heavenly sword is a rental and lair just sucks. so far there is not much more than that and ALSO there are no downloadable games really so you are screwed.

Exactly. If you have the money for all 3, then you can't possibly lose. However, for someone who isn't looking for a collection of party games and the occasional "hardcore" game (Zelda, Metroid, etc.), the Wii is not your system. At this point, the 360 appeals to the most gamers, the Wii appeals to the most non-gamers (which for us gamers, is not helpful), and the PS3 appeals to the HD-fanatics.

Dude that is a huge misconception about Wii. Wii barely has more party games than the other systems.

This is true... It's just on the Wii party games actualy work well... and sell well...

Wii = New Gen

Xbox 360 & PS3 = Next Gen

Rayman, WarioWare, Mario Party, Carnival Games, Wii Sports (face it, it's a party game), Super Monkey Ball, Tamagotchi, Elebits...C'mon, that's a lot of party games. And the number grows exponentially when you factor in all the "casual" games that most gamers aren't too interested in (Big Brain, for example).
