the wii makes a great 2nd console

i know the wii gets alot of hate here. i have the ps3 in my room and there is the wii in my sisters.

i play the ps3 about 90% of the time and never get bored of it. but today after playing some sm64 on the virtual console and playing some smg, my sisters came and we played ssbb and mario kart wii and i said to myself, this is still alot of fun.

i dont think i could play and enjoy it all the time like the ps3 even though i had a good time.

what do you think system wars, is the wii simply a good second console or do you think its good enough to have hours and hours of fun on without a pc or ps360?

A long time agoas a 360 owner I decided a PS3 would make a great 2nd console. You must agree it was a very smart move. After that with a gaming PC, 360, & PS3 there was just no reason to buy any more gaming systems.

It makes a great primary console for me.

My PC and PS3 are a little behind it.

Exact same story for me. I actually had a Wii for a little over a year though. I just didn't use it much. I don't think it's a bad system, but it's just not essential for me personally. I play the PS3, 360, and PC plenty. Figured I should sell the Wii while the demand was high.

Lately, I've only been using it as a GameCube. Maybe a 3rd console...

The Wii is certainly capable of hours of fun, although I've grown up with Nintendo, so that would be natural for me. I'm simply not that familiar with games on the PS3 (although I've been downloading a lot of demoes. So fun...).
