The wii online is better than xbox live---try and prove me wrong

The funny thing i hear is that xbox live is better than the nintendo wifi online. Such ridiculous statements are very illogical. In fact i can list 6 reasons why the wii online is better than live.

1. You cant surf the internet

2. You need a $100 wifi adapter to get wi-fi (its free on the wii)

3. You have to pay to get on live

4. Using an ethernet cable to get online is very troublesome if you didnt spend 100$ on the adapter

5. You cant play brawl or mario kart wii online with xbox live

6. There is no wii ware on xbox live

I dare ANYONE to top these points i listed. Its very clear that the wii has better online than the 360

Now why XBL is better than Wii Online (Not points I'd actually use)

1. You can't watch movies or TV shows on it.

2. You need to pay extra if you don't have wifi.

3. WiFi is worse than wired

4. You can't play Halo 3 or COD4 on Wii ONline

5. There is no XNA or XBLA on Wii Online.

I had a Green connection, and i still got lots of lag.

1. You need an expensive home wi-fi network to use it. The 360 at least comes with a simple cable for the majority of people to use. And also, you dont need to spend $100. You can get any old wifi adapter for $30.

2. You cant surf the internet. If you want that; great. Positive point for the Wii. Doesn't make a difference to me though.

3. You have to pay. But you're paying for something. Simple.

4. Ethernet cable troublesome? You just plug it in. :?

5. Oddly enough, you cant play Brawl or mario kart online with the Wii either. See plethora of angry youtube videos.

6. There is no wii ware. But there is XNA, arcade, and downloable demos. :|

Dude, the PSP's wifi kills the nintendo wifi. PSP-PS3 connectivity is teh win!!!!! Nintendo should use that for the wii and DS

ySo you sheep will be able to transfer the amount of mushroom powerups you have in a game, or probably use the DS to cover your heads incase the wiimote flies off your hands....

Your Wi-fi network and not your internet connection is probly to blame. Are you by chance near the edge of your network hotspot.

Hell no, I have the best connection out of all my friends. And it STILL lags.

im not suprised you point that out but they are giving us a free game for the laggy christmas. and thats actually a good thing because when christmas came by there were so many people online it was bound to happen. BTW i doubt ninty will compensate you for your laggy smbb

1 i have a very capable laptop for that

2 wi fi is too unreliable, i've never had problems with cables

3 so £40 a year for a very good service is a bad thing??

That doesn't mean that you can't have packet loss or intranetwork latiency, but it does reduce your chances greatly. Oh well, maybe your just really unlucky. I've had lag, but most of the time it's good.

SSBB isn't laggy for me most of the time, and it's free... so no I recon they won't.

That said I was just pointing out that your lag free service isn't so lag free. It's nice that microsoft payed you back and all but that doesn't change the fact that it lagged like hell, so you should probly stop calling it lag free.
