The Wii successor will be announced at E3 but what will be the big surprise?

The rumor mill has been going strong with insider Wii HD leaks. You would think the big surprise(not anymore) Nintendo has for us is that they are launching a new console. But not so, apparantly they have a BIG surprise for us. What could be bigger than that? We all know about the console and we know about the controller. What is left for them to surprise us with?

Well, I think the big surprise is the new console will be launching right away. I mean like maybe even a few weeks after E3. This is something that really will blow me away if it's true. Most of us are expecting it much later. For them to announce, AND IT IS NOW AVAILABLE IN ALL MAJOR US RETAILERS will be like OMFG!!!!111!

What do you people believe the big surprise will be?

not so fast , they already said it wont launch til next yr they need time to develope games and stuff for it ,

and like 3ds they are getting more units on shelves ,

and want to have a low price range less then 400 and thats what theyll do regardless of igns crap leak , i cant believe nintnedo will ever launch this thing at 400 bucks

but if they do i better start saving well actuallly ill preorder and put 200 down then put the other 200 down launch day so ya but ya idoubt the 400 is right itll most likely be 50-80 more then 3ds

250 plus 70-320 , and that would be a good price

or theyl drop 3ds down and launch wii 2 for the 2 50 price ,

or 300 , but ya not gona happen i guess the biger suprise may be that its a fully bc console

IGN is reporting it could hit stores as early as October. It also isn't going to be as expensive as one may think.

It will play PS3 and 360 games (not ports, the actual disks from other systems) and replace all in game character models with miis.

The only thing that would surprise me is Nintendo going back to its N64/GC core-focused days.... And I would love them for it.
