The Wii U is overpriced

Nintendo is seriously selling a 360 with a tablet controller for $300

The system does less than the 360, can't play physical based movies given that it uses its own disc format.

Nintendo online for the Wii U is likely going to suck for the year until Nintendo revamps there online service which they are supposedly doing.

Why would anyone who has a 360/PS3 even consider spending $300 to buy the Wii U when first of all, the Wii sucked and secondly the other consoles are around the corner and will likely put the Wii U in the same situation the Wii was in.

This is an overpriced console that is coming too late to the game, had this been 6 years ago there would be nothing wrong with this.

Nintendo just wants to laugh in the bank again by selling overpriced hardware and hoping the gimmicks allows the system to sell like hotcakes.

I think they will pay the price this time, the Wii type casual success was a 1 time thing.

People have realized Nintendo intentions (outside of the sheep) and see clearly what Nintendo is trying to do.

Do you know the cost to manufacture the system?

Do you know how much it costs to make the latest cell phones?

Do you know how much it costs to make an Ipad?

What about a labtop?

Do you get the what I am saying...?

If the new Xbox and Playstation launch at anywhere near the prices the 360 and PS3 launched at, WiiU isn't gonna look so overpriced. Especially since it will probably have a price drop by the time the others come out. Plus, the price isn't even official yet.

Even though TC is troll and assumed to be wrong, Nintendo does tend to sell at a profit so they sometimes do overprice their products (ex: $250 3DS). I can see Nintendo sticking with a high price at launch, and then having a price drop once the other next gen systems come out. Sort of like what they did with 3DS once Vita came out.

Considering the Vita is around 250 or more (for 3gs), I'd say that is not a bad price at a relative standpoint. This is not to be confused of my personal opinion that the Wii U is overpriced.

First of all it's not overpriced because they haven't even announced a price.
