Yes, I know that the HD consoles have better support but that does not automatically mean that the Wii has a terrible one. Think of it like this : HD (9/10 support) , Wii (8/10 support). We don't see them, like you said, because the devs don't step up. The Wii does not make its own games.

Actually... its more like this (over the course of the entire generation):
360 (10/10)
PS3 (9/10)
Wii (7.5-8/10)
For every 5-7 great third party games the 360/PS3 get, the Wii gets maybe 1-2. And even then, they are not the same games available on the 360/PS3, but exclusives (which don't make them better, or more worth owning).Fixed.
Do you people seriously think gaming would be more interesting if Nintendo tries to be like Sony and MS? You want three gaming companies that are alike, yet you complain about there not being enough variety in games.
The day nintendo becomes like the competition is the day gaming starts to really suck.
Note. I am not dissing Sony or MS. I think their systems have great games.
PS2 is one of my all time favorite consoles.
So don't call me a fanboy! :x
8/10 for Wii 3rd party support??? No goddam way. Not ONE of the biggest and best 3rd party devs supports the dang thing properly, it lacks entire genres that are standard on just about every halfway decent console ever, there's frightening amounts of crap to middling games, and many of even the GOOD 3rd party games have random flaws that hinder them, such as Little King Story, a strategic game about moving troops around the screen, doesn't even use IR!? or are better on other consoles. The Wii does get some good 3rd party games but doesn't get anything NEAR the 3rd party support of 360, PS3, PS2, SNES, NES, etc.
