It's interesting because before the Wii and PS3 launched if you searched for "all games" on the platforms, the PS3 had over 100 and the Wii had maybe a wopping 30-40?  I dunno if thats right but the PS3 had quite abit more titles planned/announced.

They broke even at 220 a couple weeks ago and now the Wii is pushing 250 while the PS3 is just over 230.  Honestly I never figured this much because the Playstation brand always had tons and tons more games then any other and Nintendo never really had that many (just a bunch of sweet 1st party games).

I mean, on one hand the PS3 just hasn't kicked in yet and they could double or triple in a given quarter.  But on the other hand, they both launched at the same time.  Do you think the Wii will continue to be ahead of announced/planned games and take advantage of it's excellent price or will the high costs of PS3 be ignored and Sony pull steam ahead with 1000s more titles like last gen?

Phil said himself that Halo is just one game, playstation has many more games to fall back on, and the Wii is an impulse buy so who knows.

If it doesn't have a solid release date, it shouldn't count. Given the recent trend in even high profile games over the last few years, anything could be vaporware.
