Metroid Prime Trilogy, guaranteed AAA.
Don't think it is a game? Why not?
This topic is locked from further discussion.
Why not?[QUOTE="WAIW"][QUOTE="Bentham"]I don't think re-releases count. Yandere
The games are already reviewed? I mean, this isn't a new game.
Again... Valve did the same thing. The Orange Box scored a 9.5 and was a contender for game of the year. Why would this be any different? Why not? Because it's a compilation of games which have already been released? Additionally, only one of the games in said series was AAA on this website. Your point is moot. And?... Ports are games, too. That's why I said AAA, not AAAE.[QUOTE="WAIW"][QUOTE="Bentham"]I don't think re-releases count. Bentham
[QUOTE="Bentham"]I don't think re-releases count. toast_burnerThe orange box aparently counts so why not metroid? Because the Orange Box isn't a re-release. Granted, it did Include Half Life 2 and Episodes 1, but it included a plethora of new games. Awful comparison.

Portal, Team Fortress 2, and new levels for the older games.
Alright, bad comparison. Regardless, ports count as games, too.[QUOTE="Bentham"]I don't think re-releases count. toast_burnerThe orange box aparently counts so why not metroid? Because Orange Box has 3 separate new games. Now when these games were re-released on PC separately (Portal - 9.0, TF 2 - 8.5 , Ep 2 - ? ) they were reviewed by GS again but not counted

Alright, bad comparison. Regardless, ports count as games, too. Not really new games though.[QUOTE="-Oath"]Again... Why not? Because it's a rehash of the exact same stuff. "Buh buh buh wut about orange box!!!111!!" Ummm, it's not like Orange box had 3 new games in it or anything, nah.I dont think SW will accept this enhanced port...
Especially when its AA-AAA quality

It has ports.... enhanced ports, much like MP Trilogy.

You can buy them all sepratly and they all got reviewed sepratly so why not (im not saying metroid trilogy should count im just saying the orange box shouldnt count either)

Alright, bad comparison. Regardless, ports count as games, too. It was an extremely bad comparison. Ports do count. However a rehash of a previous generation game shouldn't count for much. What if Nintendo released the exact same Zelda or Mario every gener........oh wait.[QUOTE="Bentham"][QUOTE="toast_burner"] The orange box aparently counts so why not metroid?toast_burnerBecause the Orange Box isn't a re-release. Majority rules, and your argument fails.

Actually might pick up a used Wii for this. MP 1 and 2 are easily two of my favorites last gen.[QUOTE="WAIW"][QUOTE="Yandere"]Alright, bad comparison. Regardless, ports count as games, too. What if Nintendo released the exact same Zelda or Mario every gener........oh wait. I'm sorry you feel that way. It's a shame that has nothing to do with the game's quality or its availability for the Wii, which -- if it scores a 9 or above -- makes it the Wii's next AAA.Portal, Team Fortress 2, and new levels for the older games.

The orange box isnt a game its a collection of games. its like saying 'The complete valve collection' is better the Half life 2 or The complete popcap collection or any of those type of deals steam is flooded with.

Thank you. That's what I meant.
[QUOTE="DeathScape666"]I think it should count, especially since Metroid Prime 1 and 2 are not on the Wii. Yes, they can be played on the Wii, but do we count those AAAs towards the Wii? Well, anyway, I don't think they will review it. Did they review the other New Play Control games?GiancarNinja Gaiden Sigma
I don't know why people are arguing if it counts or not when the TC never mentioned AAAE, he just said AAA.
All games count. It's just the exclusives SW has problems with.

It's a shame that has nothing to do with the game's quality or its availability for the Wii, which -- if it scores a 9 or above -- makes it the Wii's next AAA. It's a shame you feel that way. The orange box is a far better deal, and compilation of games, which did score a 9.5 here. I'm glad the Wii is getting an AAA title that actually have nothing to do with the Wii's controls. I guess Nintendo should be that desperate. Trying to find a decent game on the Wii that was released this year would be like trying to find snow in Madagascar.[QUOTE="fatzebra"][QUOTE="WAIW"] Alright, bad comparison.
