It was a good trailer, but the winner can only be the one that shows gameplay. Elden Ring destroyed everything and its not even close.

It was basically this trailer, but the whole show.

Especially Tumble Time. Which has just been stuck in my head for the past two days.

I dont even like smartphone gaming, I would go so far as to say I hate smartphone gaming.

But tumble time... Man, that game looks so much fun. I already signed up.

Tomorrow is Capcom. Still holding out hope for a Dino Crisis reboot. Then Nintendo and Namco on Tuesday.

and if there is anything in there that reflects how they intend the final game to be, and you assume there's not because that's the joke isn't it lol, i think going for a more serious look (first outer worlds e3 trailer was very cartoony and fallout-esque), with a slight guardians of the galaxy feel, and toning down the garish palette from the original are all good moves

Its a cool trailer although I find redundant for MS to have both The Outer Worlds and Starfield in its exclusive lineup being that the premise is the same i.e. Fallout in space

Most game companies like to showcase cinematic trailers that show barely any gameplay at all, and I don't think Sony's an exception to this either.

No that's true. Sony do it as well. The difference is, they also release very high quality games on a regular basis. So far this gen... Demon Souls remaster (maybe not a big deal to you but it is to a lot of people), Returnal, Ratchet and Clank.

MS: so far this gen.... literally nothing? And that situation changes a LONG time in the future.

FYI I wouldn't recommend buying either a PS5 or a Series X to last gen console owners there just isn't enough going on and in MS case unless you want Game Pass you can happily pretend they don't exist. Fact remains after all their acquisitions they are still light years away from delivering anything significant outside of Gamepass which is not MS Studios that's their accountants paying OTHER devs to give them games temporarily for free on Gamepass so you at least have something to play.

I'd been following him throughout E3 digital event as I like his take on the gaming show to say the least. He looked pretty rough though.

Forza Horizon 5 won in my opinion.

After Microsoft canceled Scalebound over concerns that Xbox users may not be skilled enough to play a proper action game, it's nice to see Platinum Games still get to realize their vision of creating a co-op action game with the PS/PC exclusive Babylon's Fall. That's one of the biggest winners of E3 for sure.

MS changed the narrative last night. This gen is on!
