The Witcher 2: Assassins Of Kings Review

The Witcher 2 is the new bar for western RPG's. It is a game that will blow people away and raise their expectations from the games medium as a whole. Games like these are rare and I strongly urge anyone with a capable PC to go out and play this game. Simply put it's the best RPG I've played this entire generation.

I love how the review says "not to spoil anything" but then goes on to spoil the end of the prologue.And it's King Foltest, not Flotsam. Flotsam is the name of the first town after the prologue..

WHy do I get the feeling the game would be mediocre or just "good" if it was on any other platform... Hermits always wanna claim... well any fanboy really... wanna claim that any game that is exclusive is better than it really is.

I'm not saying TW2 isn't a very good game, but... after hearing people call The Witcher the BEST RPG EVA!, and now having played a good chunk of it myself, I can safely say, its not the best RPG EVER... not even in the top 5 tbh. That doesnt make it a bad game, in fact I'm enjoying the game mostly, but "OMG BEST RPG EVA" it is not.

It definately, definately is in my top five.

Never played an rpg with such an great atmosphere, personages, story involvement and graphics.

AAA title for me, definately. This kind of RPG's are rare nowadays. Love the gritty atmosphere the Polish guys did put up here. The new combat also is a breath of fresh air. Very rewarding if you can pull it off. Few bugs here and there but nothing major. Worth every fckin penny. A true PC RPG dedicated from gamers to gamers. You can feel that!
