What's your least favorite game you've played and beaten, both for the seventh generation and of all time. Make as many categories as you want.

I can't think of anything before the seventh generation. I played a lot more awful games back then though since I used to rent games based on the boxart and explanation on the back.

Often I make jokes about this, but in all seriousness it might be Haze on the PS3. I did not beat it.

The worst game I've ever beaten was probably Crysis 2.

Worst game last gen: Is a toss up between Star Wars Kinect and Amy, what a load of garbage.

Played AND beaten? Hmmm... I lose interest even in games I enjoy! Uhh, I'll go with Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Of every game I've played AND beaten, that is the worst.

I would have to say I played sonic unleased it was fun during the daytime but the nighttime my god what utter crap.I couldint bring myself to beat it.

I'm one of the very few people who loved Haze :P

Worst game 7th gen: Legendary or Turning Point

Worst game ever: Probably the same as the above 2 from what I can remember.

I don't buy bad games and would never bother finishing one.

Gotta say Jak 2 HD. Bought the HD collection, loved the first game but strained through to the end of the second.

Going through that game was just awful.

I manage to find a way to have fun playing any game... so, anything I play through to the end has at least some redeeming quality. The problem with owning as many games as I do is that I often times do not finish the games that I don't REALLY enjoy right from the start. I have so many to go back and play that I don't think I actually finished a game from last gen that I didn't like... I jumped around quite a bit, and consider last gen the worst gen since 1st gen. However, I can say the three games that jump out at me the most for being excellent are Oblivion, Driver San Francisco, and Spec Ops the Line.

Trolls on Treasure Island (NES) rates at the top of worst of all time though....

It's incredible how different our opinions are when it comes to this kind of stuff. Honestly what you consider the worst is considered one of my favorites. Funny how it works that way. I could say that maybe you haven't played enough games then. ;)

The worst game I've played but not beaten from this latest gen was probably one of those indy games from the Potato Sack (probably that end of the world game) those years ago. I bought it just because it was cheap and that's all she wrote.

If I were to be more serious though and choose from the "popular games" list it might be GTA in general. Never could play more than a few hours before losing interest. Out of the ones I've beaten it probably is Sonic: The Dark Brotherhood. Console/PC wise it is probably Wii Play.

IDK, I beat a lot of bad SNES/PS2/N64 games I've forgotten the names of when I was a kid.

Objectively, the worst game I've played from last gen has to be Sonic '06. Halo 4 is the least enjoyable game I played, from last gen.

I actually really enjoyed the game! But like I said: there are games I LOVE but still haven't beaten! I couldn't put DE:HR down. But I also feel it's objectively the worst game I actually.. couldn't put down. :P

I'm like that too. So many games I put down prematurely even if I liked them just to get to another one, only to forget about the previous ones. Sucks when you got a growing backlog, and the ones I actively play through fully is a short list compared to what I got. :P

I love Ratchet and Daxter, despite the trilogy(mostly 2 and 3 having some frustrating missions), but I think my main problem with those games is the fact that you can't strafe while shooting.

I will name a couple that i purchased and couldn't play more than 1h of each. Eternal Sonata (what a *********************** game just wow), FC2 (patrols spawn on every corner ruined it for me) and The Conduit which needs zero explanations.

Devil May Cry 2 is the worst I've played. I still play it though. Guess it's a guilty pleasure, and it's Devil May Cry.

Sonic 06 is masterful in it's shittiness.

The worst game I've ever played was Super Mario Sunshine. I don't usually finish games that feel like shit to play, but SMS was the only game I played that I wish I could have my time back or done something more productive, like stapling my nuts together.

Seventh generation? Uh... I dunno, take any RTS game you want.

Gotta be demon's souls for me. Most things in that game are conceptually good but have terrible execution. It's just not fun.

Combat is essentialy just parrying/rolling around, studying enemy attack patterns and attacking when the enemy misses and rolling back to take health. Without lock-on you are imprecise and locking on is often too constricting. You don't get anything later in the game to make combat any different from when you started the game, except for different spells/miracles. There's no sense of progress in that game since you can still be easily 2-3 shotted by many enemies in later levels. The bosses are a load of bs, you come in without knowing what kind of attacks they have and how to defend from them and you're toast within seconds. It would be fine if there were checkpoints before bosses but no. You pretty much had to look up a wiki/walkthrough if you wanted to spare yourself major headache and find out how to fight them without dying 3+ times and having to spend 5 minutes going back through the level. All levels have ridiculous amount of pitfalls which doesn't mesh well with movement in combat when locked on, resulting in many deaths.

If there were checkpoints before bosses and something to spice up combat it would be a much better game IMO. I can't really be bothered to replay levels from beggining all the time because I made 1-2 mistake and I'm definitely not wasting my time trying to look up best/cheapest tactics. I've seen a fair share of walkthrough videos praising the game and then proceeding to kill a dragon or some other boss by pelting it for 15 minutes with 400 arrows because it's too ridiculous to try it face to face, that's just mind boggling to me how that can be any fun. It's just trying way too much to be hard.

Holy crap man, you mean the one on NES? The one with the muddy muffled sounding voice clip at the beginning? I'm guessing so, because I doubt they ever made another. I also managed to beat that piece of shit game. All I really remember about it was the crocs in level 1, some jeep driving level and fighting two cyborg dudes at the end. TERRIBLE game, and from what I remember it was hard as hell.

I think the worst game I played and never beat was ET on the 2600. The worst game I played and beat was Friday the 13th on the NES. The worst game I beat of the 7th gen was FFXIII.

Some games you've listed make me think you didn't play a lot of games last gen. For me, it's Aliens: Colonial Marines which take the cake.
