the playstation x(released only in japan a ps2 about 2x the size that can do specail things the original ps2 can not abbreviated psx ,, , it was a commercail failure in japan ,,,
there for it didnt get released state side or any where else,
asking price was 600 ,, the ironic same price as the ps3 ,, and that is this gens worst console but its not the worst of all time lol
because a console is $600 doesn't mean it's a bad console, look at neo geo, it was $599 back in 1990! And the games were $200 each!
people are too young. MSX is much much better than VIrtual Boy. if you haven't seen a Virtual Boy gameplay, then behold
Im just gunna wait for the Xbox fanboys to say the PS3. Then ill wait for the wave of PS3 fanboys who will say the 360. Ill then watch as this thread becomes a 10 page discussion of consisting of nothing but: NO U!
Pico is educational. Virtual Boy has a very small library and is a bit inconvenient to play, but most of its games are actually very good. Virtual Boy Wario Land is outstanding. CD-i is the worst.CDI, Sega Pico and Virtual Boy

IMO:
Worst Handheld: Virtual Boy (it wasn't even a handheld for christ's sake and it would burn out your retinea!)
Worst Addon: 32X or Sega CD take your pick! The genesis was awesome but Sega really screwed up with all the add on's.
Worst Console: Atari Jaguar, I owned one and it was a piece of craptacular junk!
gotta love sarcasm (or stupidity but based on Sadistic hams hopefully not).....PS3 easily. No competition.

Virtual Boy had good games, and that's what counts. I have one, and it certainly doesn't "burn out your retina". SEGA CD is much, much better than 32X. Lunar, Sonic CD, Snatcher, etc. And 32X still isn't the worst. Atari Jaguar CD was worse. I own a Jaguar, and I love it. Doom, Wolfenstein 3D, Tempest 2000, Alien Versus Predator, Rayman, Super Burnout, Zool 2... Lots of good games. It just didn't live up to the hype.IMO:

I bought the Jaguar the week it came out, and what a waste of money that was. The only game worth playing on that POS was AVP. I couldn't, for the life of me, figure out why games on the 3DO (a 32-Bit console) looked so much better than any game on the Jaguar (a supposed 64-Bit console). Then the news came out that the Jaguar was only a 32-Bit console...2 32-Bit processors =/= true 64-Bit.IMO:

However, I did like the Sega CD...It had some pretty good games on it. I was hooked on the Sherlock Holmes games for quite some time. Hell, I liked a lot of the FMV games.
I'm just gonna laugh at you for calling the MSX 1 and 2 dreadfull and claiming noone would have heard of it if it weren't for Metal Gear :D You probably never seen an real msx in action and never played one of the many great games released for the MSX systems. the worst gaming system of all time for me would be the xbox 360 because of it's lousy hardware, 'cause my msx 2 is over 20 years old and it still works like a new one!The Japenese MSX and MSX2. The Atari Jaguar and Virtaul Boy at least had A FEW good games, which puts them miles ahead of the CDi...
I don't get all the virtual boy hate. I have maybe over 20 games for mine and none of them were terrible. I vote Jaguar for worst system.

Try getting a NES to load a game with less than 5 minutes of jiggling the cartridge.

You obviously weren't skilled enough, you don't actually blow regulary into the cart, you have to blow hot air slowly up and down, and it always worked for me.
[QUOTE="Irick_cb"]I'm pretty sure CDi did happen. At least Jaguar had Alien v.s. Predator, though it still sucks, what did CDi have again?CDi....
But...
THAT

So Jaguar.

No, the LaserActive was worse. I mean, have you ever held a 12-inch LaserDisc? Now, imagine that being your gaming medium.I never played a Virtual Boy long enough to get a headache. The only time I played it was at a Wal-Mart that had one set up, and I remember that Mario Tennis was fun, but that holding my head up to the console was pretty uncomfortable.Dr_CorndogFor me, it was Wario Land at a Toys 'R' Us. It wasn't bad, as far as it went, but it was still uncomfortable, and the red monochrome wasn't all that inspiring.
NEO-GEO CD (It had all the regular NEO-GEO games and tried to make it mass marketable but the load times were alot slower then the other systems out at the time.)
NEO-GEO CD Loadtime comparision to the NEO-GEO MVS
(I didn't actually play it I saw it on Tv.)
I didn't say other consoles like the CDi (Because obviously that is the worst.)
