Woah dude .... I LOVE warhammer and all things games workshop, played the table games for years, but NOTHING can kill WOW, nothing. They only thing that could kill WOW is WOW itself. If they make a sequel that doesn't become as popular is the only way WOW could die.
at the least, you choose probably the best MMO in development, and Warhammer does have a large fanbase, it wont be as big as WOW, but yeah...it will be popular.
I can't believe you are hyping a game made by EA, seriously they failed sooooo many mmo it's not even funny anymore. Also, Mythic is a trash company, they did not learn from their mistake with daoc, sowar:o is Dark age of camelot with warhammer character and 2 factions instead of 3.

mythic has made the only AAA MMO here outside of WOW...if anyone could make a good one (of course excluding blizzard) it would probably be them.
Looks awesome,even if Warhammer online takes a good 20k-50k of WoWs population its gonna take a hug chunk out of WoW since even though they claim to have 8 million people subscribed to it,guess how many are active? at least half of that.Btw this is coming from someone who played WoW since almost beta and I gave up on WoW 5 months ago since they are basically killing their own lore.

they are all active....9 million refers to current subscribers, if they werent active, they wouldnt be paying.
Despite the fact that WOW is still growing at an alarmingly fast rate, its grip on the MMO genere is slowly degrading as the amount of popular MMO's increases.
I can't wait for Guild Wars 2 because it is the only good free MMORPG worth playing and I find it to be miles more enjoyable then World of Warcraft which is both money milkage and harder to get into. I really need to continue with Guild Wars: Eye of the North but my computer lags like a bastard in the caves.

It's actually 9 million, and Blizzard says they measure by activity, not by who has bought the game and stopped playing. So people with inactive accounts are not counted.
To say it's half of that is a ridiculous claim with not a shred of proof.
