the xbox360 has terrible backwards compatibility

games like KOTOR, KOTOR 2, half life 2 run with extreme lag, that makes them very unenjoyable experiences

im sure a bunch of others run badly as well i just havent tested all my old xbox games yet

halo, and halo 2 run good but they are first party so its to be expected

and the hardware is bad with the red rings...

say what you want about ps3's game library but at least the Backwards compatibility is perfect for ps2, and ps1 games, also the hardware doesnt break down

I've had no problems with KOTOR or Mercenaries on my 360.

Your disks are probably dirty/scratched. My Halo2 disk was messed up and ran like crap, until I cleaned it

60GB model is discontinued in America so quantities are limited. What about when the 60GB is no longer available then what. Europe has limited BC with their 60GB model and has no BC with the 40GB.

Dismissing the whole RROD, which I only experienced once because of an unplugging (cycling power cleared it) and not having a PS3 so I don't know about it's BC. I have to admit, I'm keeping my Xbox because some games just don't run well on it (Buffy comes to mind right off the bat).

His point was the games DIDN'T run fjun on his 360, and the PS3 BC software emulation doesn't have any slowdown errors in any of the games they've supported...except if it's the game itself.....who knows what hes rambling about anyway...

I've had problems with KOTOR and my disk are like brand new.Mostly I just haveloss of sound during cut scenes. I haven't tried KOTOR 2 on it yet.

I don't see the TC's point considering Mass Effect and the Orange Box are/will be way better than KOTOR, KOTOR 2 or HL2 were on the xbox.PBSnipes

I have to agree with the Orange Box statement, but I still like going back and playing the KOTOR's from time to time. As far as the TC's point I'm betting it just for flame bait.
