the 360 took a risk, and added many features.Oh so Microsoft copied Sony and Nintendo in making game machines?
they added download-able xbox live arcade which is now also copied by ps3 and wii.
they added download-able demos which is now copied by ps3
they added the first REAL online play, with lots of games with online and good online service
and they added many features and took a risk, and paved the way for both your measly weak consoles.
so cows and sheeps. show some respect

I'll give you MS really did pave the way for online on consoles but it's not really anything new. Most of this stuff was on PC's years before. Sony and Nintendo paved the way for MS mainly (More Nintendo).Ibacai

the 360 took a risk, and added many features. Is there a point to this thread? At all? Other than being a total failure I mean. All of those online features are a no-brainer upgrade just by looking at what the PC has to offer.

[QUOTE="D0wnfall1"]This thread should be renamed, "The PC paved the way for all consoles."ronniexiewere talking about this gen. the new features that 360 had. In that case PS3 paved more than Xbox360. Blu-ray. 1080p. Wireless connection. Motion Sensor (360 still don't have). Linux progamming on console. Better games.

It goes both ways! You should show respect to Playstation. A lot of games that are coming out on 360 are by game developers that started making for Playstation and wouldn't be here without Playstation. Also the camera that 360 uses is a copy from PS2's camera. And I believe that a CD gaming console was Sony's idea long before Xbox's.
This thread should be renamed, "The PC paved the way for all consoles."D0wnfall1or how about odyssey paved the way for all consoles or maybe nes paved the way for all good consoles or playstation paved the way for disc format or dreamcast paved the way for online service or microsoft still hasn't done anything besides acheivment points for consoles
Lawl. What're you talking about. Nintendo 'paved' the way for both consoles. They were in this video gaming business much longer than Microsoft and Sony.Kikouken
Yes however; Nint stayed stuck in the past with cartridge games and Sony leaped forward with a CD gaming console and the network adaptor etc. Nint just barely started CD gaming. They haven't lead the way for anything Sony and MS have done.
