I'm an X1 owner and recently logged on to my xbox360 to play and game( I have not used my 360 since purchasing the X1). It is unreal how slow the 360 is compared to the X1. I realize that the X1 does not have the useful layout and has some missing features compared to the xbox360. However, the speed difference alone will ensure that I will not be using my xbox360 ever again. It was just PAINFUL to use.

Seriously?

More RAM + ESRAM + OSs running at the same time = FASTER

A next gen console should be faster, just like PS4 is faster than PS3.

PC>PS4>XB1>360>Wii U>PS3>Wii

Still can't believe they ditched the somewhat functional store for this abomination. I do all my psn purchases via webbrowser...which is also kind of slow.

Wait, you guys are talking about the PS3 PS Store right? If so, I agree, what a monstrosity.

EDIT:

WOW would help if I actually read correctly.

Neither of the 7th gen HD consoles have aged well. Really clunky UIs, slow messes. For both 360 and PS3.

ps3 interface isn't THAT slow, just the damn store. still, love how it does show pictures, and videos with good thumbnails, and all that jazz. sucks you can't do that with ps4, but then again with both consoles requiring game installs of massive sizes, i doubt i have the room to stick a bunch of movies on the hard drive anyways.

The 4 X360's I had were pretty fast enough for me. I never really considered the ui to be slow.

The UI is fine it's the boot up time that's ridiculous, at least it was on my old style 360, takes about 30 seconds just to turn on. Maybe it was speedier on the newer ones.

Maybe slightly speedier on the new ones, still takes a good 20 seconds or so to boot on my 360 Slim.

My main 360 is slow as hell because my harddrive is just about full.

My other 360, which has pretty much nothing on it, is lightning fast.

My 360 has been slow for ages now. Maybe the new ones are faster idk. My HDD is pretty much full, so that may have something to do with it. My PS3 in the other hand is quite fast and that is loaded with games , the PS store is slow, but once is fully loads its not that bad. Also the 720p res of the 360 dash looks even worse now that I'm used to the PS4 and X1 UI.

yeah it is pretty slow.

all those app and video updates over the last 8 years took a huge toll since the 360 ended up doing a bunch of multimedia crap it was never designed for.

xboner brains' refresh rate runs at 12 fps tops so it's customized for them.

A refresh rate is measures in Hz and a frame rate is measured in FPS. How are you using them both together like they are the same thing?
