There are a lot of good games that PS3 and 360 have the Wii doesn't.

The same could be said in Nintendo's favour. There are a lot of good games the Wii has but the PS3 and 360 don't.

Either way you look at it... if you are a serious gamer and want to cover as many good games released this gen as you can... you pick up either a PS3 or 360 and then a Wii.

Those are all great games that represent part of the reason that many people have Wiis.

Why does it matter if they are first party? Quality exclusives are quality exclusives. I wasn't trying to start a debate about Wii's 3rd party support; I was listing good exclusive games for the system...

I admit Super Mario Galaxy is a great platformer and I can't think of a game to match that genre.mostly coz im not interested in it.

MP3 has a lot of FPS elements so can be easily matched.

Zelda:TP will be matched by NG2 for action genre.

but TC this topic does fail to a degree.if you are a casual gamer then you wont be interested in most 360,PS3 titles.and if they aren't intereted then they don't care.

It means that they are fantastic, not having Heavenly Sword is something to be proud of. And you get the proeleven thing. Zack and WIki is awesome, it's just that it's a real game,along with Okami and No More Heroes. And yes most people would rather play CoD4, because hardcore gamers are a minority.

Sure there is...Shovelware is my all-time favorite genre. Seriously though, there are other things but what is the first thing that comes to mind when someone says Nintendo? Mario...Mario, Super mario, mario kart, mario tennis, mario party, SSB, mario mario golf...it goes on, believe me.

I find Ninja Gaiden and Zelda to give a very different feel. Ninja Gaiden feels more action platformer to me. Zelda games are about exploring a big world and stuff.

and Hardcasual=Games that are played mostly by casuals but are a step corer than the traditional casual games(wii sports, wii fit, brainage, wiiage, brain fit, brain sports, wiibrain....)

Super Smash Bros, Halo and Grand Theft Auto(its not intentionally casual, but casuals play it) are like that. You can't expect them to be "deep" or "detailed". WHile some of them are, the "Hardcasuals" don't care.

Its all personal taste. I keep a Wii as a secondary console since I'm a fan of Zelda. Otherwise I spend 90% of my gaming time on the PC/PS3/360. In terms of personal preference, the Wii's library just doesn't match what the PS3/360 has to offer me. There are just too many series on the PS3/360 that I'am a fan of that the Wii doesn't have access to. Nintendo is giving great first party support but they need to kick it up a notch with 3rd parties. Most of my favorite games come from 3rd parties.

FPS's are really, really alike. While Mario games are very similar, mario, sonic, spyro, crash bandicoot and little big planet aren't near as similar as all the fps's
