Played the online demo/beta a few days ago.. as i said in a different thread, will still get crysis 2 but only once its $20 or below.. $60? not worth it after playing that beta

I'll agree with MP part...But on Tuesday I'll know how the whole game feels and plays...

1- Not even close, Helghan is just crazy.

2- They must have improved ALOT over Crysis 1 then, those were some of the dumbest AI I've ever seen.

3- Maybe on PC.

4-Don't know but some of KZ3's was pretty epic.

5- Hopefully better than first crysis.

6-Don't think none will have a character that out shines Rico's redemption in KZ3.

7-Haven't seen no sandbox level yet in crysis 2. And KZ3 does have some larger areas in some of the big battles.

8- Possibly does have more gameplay choices. But KZ3 did have some nice change of pace sections.

9- MP's without a doubt will go to KZ3. Just basing off of the 2 I played on the pc for crysis 2, they both sucked.

10- KZ3's controls are perfect.

11- The XP system in KZ3 is also perfect. I've got 45 hours into KZ3's mp and I'm only at level 35/45. Still a long ways to go to max out. (oh yea just passed a million pts in mp aswell :)

12- And KZ3's shooting a killing just blows Crysis out of the water. Heck in the pc version from 2 feet away you couldn't hit the statue of liberty while hip firing lol.

13- KZ3 has better gameplay choices for MP :)

I actually canceled my PS3 C2 pre-order after playing that aweful demo while I felt good with my pre-order of Kz3. So if anything, Kz3 wins when it comes to the demo, so your entire thread is useless. That aside, I'll probably pick it up for the PC if it gets cheaper and good Mod support

7. Crysis 2's levels are very open and offer many paths. Killzone 3 has got some open levels but they are still very linear.

8. Crysis 2 does have more gameplay choices. Part of this is because of the sandbox level design. Killzone is just stop and pop

9. Those 2 are great colourfull maps. Much better than any maps Killzone has

10. Killzone 3 has that damn weighty movement

11. In Crysis 2 you can unlock different modules and unlock any weapon you want as long as you have a token

12. Nah Crysis 2 has much better combat.

13. Crysis 2 has verticality to it and much more. Giving it the better gameplay choices for multiplayer

No I just witness Narville yell at the black guy all game, hover above a Mauler and shoot it, fly in space and shoot crusiers and drive a car with the cruiser escaping all without the ability to control any of the three vehicles. The game is a rail shooter. The multiplayer pales in comparison to KZ2. My bad the game didn't have custom games, lobby's, the older dedicated server options, a good party system ect. My bad it couldn't offer even a fraction of the features and options found in such an old game as Halo 3. I don't play Black Ops and never have so I wouldn't know. But you can naming an even more inferior FPS doesn't excuse this disaster of an all graphics and no substance game. No wonder the sales were less then KZ2 at this point.

I don't know about all that. I haven't played Crysis 2 yet, besides the demo. And that sucked. The maps were terrible, the gameplay was unentertaining. I expect the single player to be great though. But I think KZ3 has much better multiplayer.

If you're judging a crysis game based upon the MP, you're doing it wrong. That's like judging a killzone game based upon story or the depth of the characters.

Hate to tell you this, but most places think Server listing is old and not worth doing anymore, read the GT5 review lol. The party system in KZ3 works perfectly, though they should raise the party to 12 instead of just 8. And also I'll live without some of the features just to have a game that I can play longer than a 1-2 hour session. KZ2 I loved but the way the controls felt made me feel like I was lifting weights the entire game. Your gonna eat your words about the sales, sales are bad cause of Kz2 and its controls. KZ3 sales will be better but in the longer run. Trust me. I now know of 5 ppl that have gotten KZ3 and loved the SP and loving the MP, but turned there back on KZ2 after feeling its controls.

Oh a perfect example in GT5. Lets continue listing off games that have less the satisfactory online components. Shall we add in MVC3 while we are at it? Should we also mention the lower player count in KZ3 too? Of course you'll live without some of the features because that's what you do. You'll make up excuses to mask the games deficiencies. So you loved KZ2 controls. So then why wouldn't you dislike KZ3's controls? KZ3 sales will be better but in the long run? Won't even matter. If it can't get off to a great start now its already irrelevant when RFOM3 and BF3 come out let alone whatever COD comes next.

You guys have no taste in FPS imo. You'll take a downgraded KZ2.5 and call it a day. The game is a complete step backwards from KZ2 in every way but controls as far as multiplayer goes.

Where's my mixing and matching of abilities? Why did the Tacticians Tactical Sweep get nerfed from Beta? Why are Marksman overpowered. How could a giant Mech like the Mauler not kill a dude chilling in a warehouse below it? How come I couldn't control the space ship at the end? Who was Welcomed back in the cliff hanger? Get it through your head I owned and played the game. It wasn't anything special. Just your average shoooter with pretty graphics.
