There is only one game this generation I see who can touch the master chief!

Nothing ont he ps3. Sure Final Fantasy will rock in Japan but not so well here.

Mario Galaxy won't have the launch figures of the chief but throughout it's lifetime it could outsell it. I still believe Super Mario 3 holds the record with like 80 million sold.

No games other than Galaxy can touch masterchief? sheesh then Il just sell my systems now and get a different hobby, what a disapointing set of "best games" ... my god ... someone give me a gun to my head now ...

If we're talking quality; their are already equal or superior games.

If we're talking charicters; Master Cheif is some how one of the most 2D charicters in video game history, here a mario with his 5 lines somw how as far more depth =/

So so lame...especially when you consider there's a thread right now in the 360 forums where nearly everyone is admitting that Halo isn't that great and failed to live up to it's hype. Most people saying they aren't even playing it anymore, or that orange box is better. You'll never see that in system wars cause that would mean the opposition getting 'one over', be they sheep or cows. 9.0 would've been a fairer score.Herbs84

it's impossible for a game to live up to the hype Halo3 had...does that not make it a great game? It's one of the best 360 games i've played

I am talking about sells. The best game overall is a matter of opinion and too diverse. GTA 4 which I will love and buy will do extremely well over here in teh U.S. and europe. IN other territories it will fail or sell little, like Japan. They hate our culture and violence. Galaxy will probably appeal to almost every Wii owner and even bring in new ones.Nin360

The Masterchief is even the best in his genre on his platform. Gordon Freeman in Half-life2, soldiers in CoD4, and Big Daddy in Bioshock already best Master Chief that is just this year. Yeah, WoW or Spore, or Starcraft II.

Galaxy will sell a ton. It'll be the revival of Mario, and it may end up selling more than Halo 3, but it won't be the only game this gen to do so.

I see GTA IV, and GT 5 putting up high numbers as well. Also, Brawl.

I doubt GTA IV could outsell Halo 3 because from my experience with Xbox live a lot of the people who play Halo are little kids whos parents have heard bad things about GTA and would never let their kid get it.bigrhyno

ummmm obviously you have never been to japan because they really think our culture is rad... and you must not have played many games because some of the most violent games i have ever played where japanese made.. hell just look at the new ninja gadien or the res evil series ect.
