lol you had to add that song. lol very nice.
I wish there was only one console, than we would all be brothers instead of enemys.
Honestly i think that if there are no exclusves people wont be complaining that this system get that game and this system get that game...if there were no exclusive games the Devs would make more money and so would the Systems Companies since they are not wasting money (such as MS 50 Mill deal with Rockstar). What u guys think...rajeev101
The end of business competition and the end of gaming as we know it FTW.
Exclusives drive the competition, it motivates the console companies to make their system more appealing than the other. Having one system, one idea would really suck because it's nice to have more than one option.DementedDragon
This is the THIRD instance where I've noticed most users on this board aren't old enough to have taken an economics course.

Simple microeconomics aren't that easy to apply to the console market, especially when you tie it into the electronics market in general (both Sony and Microsoft have reasons to look at that angle).[QUOTE="Verge_6"][QUOTE="DementedDragon"]Exclusives drive the competition, it motivates the console companies to make their system more appealing than the other. Um, I have a BS in Biochemistry, I can careless about Economics; i'm just using what I have.
Please, to anyone that agrees with the OP: http://gamevideos.com/video/id/12328 Exclusivity may bring a larger audience to the game, but realistically won't produce as good a game. Itagaki states it wonderfully, (paraphrased): "if I was a developer of the system, and had put all my hard work to create a system that was unique and special in it's own way, then I would feel foolish for a game developer to not utilize what makes my system special". PS3 can do things the 360 and Wii can not. The 360 can do things the PS3 Wii can not. The Wii can do things the PS3 and 360 can not. Creating a game that is multi-platform only creates a lesser-game, and in the end is destructive to the industry, not constructive.shrgnatlasSounds like it's the other way around: "Multiplatform development" may bring a larger audience, etc.
