There will be no NX at E3, but what if they showed Potential Games?

Nintendo's E3 showing is gonna be awful, and Everyone knows this, including Nintendo.

I mean it's gonna be cool, We get to see Zelda in FULL ACTION, We haven't seen complete footage of this game since December of 2014.

But the thing is that Nintendo is only bringing Zelda to E3. ONLY ZELDA. It's not like they have nothing else to show. They still have Federation Force and Paper Mario Sticker Splash to still show off and sell. Heck isn't the 3DS getting Dragon Quest Games this year? Where's Pokemon?

and to top it off they're not going to show off NX, but what if they don't need to?

Yeah I'm trying to make light of Nintendo's awful E3 situation, but what if the reason why they only have Zelda playable at E3 is because the NX has games that are simply unplayable to the public? To bring those games to E3, but have say a placeholder controller and no actual console, but dev kits would be misleading and might be considered false advertising and Nintendo doesn't want that.

So perhaps this E3 Nintendo is just going to gives us Concepts or CG trailers or even some Gameplay of NX games kinda like what they did back in January of 2013 where they showed off a bunch of WiiU games that weren't playable to the public, but were eventually released and fully realized.

These Games included The Wonderful 101, Bayonetta 2*, Super Mario 3D World*, Mario Kart 8*, WiiU Party, Yoshi's Wooly World, Tokyo Mirage Sessions ♯FE*, Zelda: WindWaker HD, Zelda WiiU*, Xenoblade Chronicles X.

Bayonetta 2, Super Mario 3D World, Mario Kart 8, Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE, Zelda WiiU Did not have any Screenshots or Gameplay footage to go by, only tentative titles, developer talks, concepts and word of trust from Iwata that these games were coming. And so far All but 2 of those games have been fully released.

So what do you guys think is gonna happen this E3? Are we gonna get something similar to the 2013 direct? Or just ZELDA ZELDA ZELDA? (truthfully I think it's the later)

Despite the whole less showing at E3 coming from Nintendo, I'm okay if they don't talk about NX or show it at all, they need to just go ahead and show stuff for Wii U which I can understand. Pokemon: Sun/Moon is still the main event for Pokemon lovers like me, more 3DS games to be show as well I hope, more SSB DLC/Characters maybe? Maybe announcing Wii U price drop? My thing is though, Nintendo will do fine even without NX showstopper, there's still Nintendo mobile games to be talk about anyways.

Im not too sure what they can do. I think would be cool for them to release something hardcore like Mother 3, they could announce it and then show a short trailer. They do have Pokemon, and im sure they can bust out Yokai along with another 1st party game if they need.

I think they need another Wii U game or theyll be passing on money, just not sure what they might bring. Something niche maybe.

That's what I'm wondering. At least SOME 3rd party games will be shown. Won't Nintendo be forced to play their cards? Maybe this NX thing is something DRASTICALLY different, in some form.

Heres what I think will be at E3. First price cuts, updates on summer releases, and VC updates. Next, DLC, Amiibo, Fall lineup for 3DS and Wii U, and then all about Zelda.

Potential surprises could happen, and maybe the NX might not "be" there, but a trailer for the system can show, or better yet, the big NX Event date.

E3 is important and no NX is disappointing, but don't you think Nintendo would rather have the spotlight to themselves in another event WITHOUT worrying about Sony and Microsoft overshadowing them?

Heck, that separate event could be a month after E3, so it won't be too far behind in terms of hype, if it is in July.

Is it confirmed they are even having a keynote presentation at E3? Maybe they aren't. Seems like it would be pretty tough to do one this year if they aren't revealing the NX. They can't possibly dedicate an entire hour to just the 3DS, and I can't imagine they have too much to say at all about Wii-U at this point.

I mean I guess they could have some 3rd parties announce some games... but that would be kind of weird to get into the games when they aren't even ready to reveal the hardware.

Well WiiU is dead and they aren't saying dick about the NX, so I don't know what they really COULD show.

They would be certifiably mad to not show NX at the E3 before it hits store shelves. All I am going so say about that and all that needs to be said about that.

Nintendo management are a bunch of fools to not show the new system at E3. If they want to get maximum exposure of the device to the public in advance, why not just show the system and some tech demos then? At least get word out about it, so theres not another "Wii/WiiU" confusion disaster. They don't have to have playable games for NX. Just start building hype. Seriously, I don't know what the **** Nintendo is thinking anymore. They're making horrible mistakes.

Are they doing a direct or do they have a stage at e3?

I'm pretty sure Metroid fans WANT to see what's going to be the "Sonic Boom" of the series.

I think they will announce some great games for the 3ds and wii u.

I'm sure Nintendo will be showing some NX stuff at E3 behind closed doors only.

Also I believe Nintendo might do a Space World for NX since it's not going to be at E3.

They will probably show a couple more throwaway games to appease (not really) the fan base.

That's what I'm expecting. I'm hoping for a little more goodness on the WiiU/3DS that took a little more effort. Not to say Federation Force doesn't but it's pretty clear it's not the biggest priority.

So I've heard they will have only one game total playable at E3. I think what we're seeing is that Nintendo will essentially not have an E3 this year. They're skipping it. Is that awful? Meh. They are transitioning platforms. I don't know what they are cooking up but if they need time they need time.

They could have their own event for NX. Or maybe a Direct.

I have no idea what to make of Nintendo and E3 this year. I'm halfway between shock and disbelief. I think that this might be the worst E3 Nintendo puts out in history if only one game is playable. Its a shame too. I think that NX games being shown without the hardware would really keep gamers interested. Now I'm thinking that Neo and the nextbox is going to steal all the thunder from it.

If I were MS or Sony I would definitely make use of this opportunity.
