[QUOTE="Meu2k7"][QUOTE="millwrought"] Meu2k7,
Well it selled more on the PC, but it ALSO solid on the other consoles, so they still made money out of it.
And about mods, look at Unreal Tournment 3, it is coming too the 360 and Epic said that the 360 game will have full mod support. Though no real details.
millwrought
I didnt disagree with that. But he said the opposite.
Anywho, if its the PS3's idea of "Full mod support" then its not really is it? limited to maps and skins/models. which is a nice foundation yes, but its not the full.
Ranked matchs will be limited to normal files probably, while custom will have the option for modded servers.
Not that I believe this is happening, until some footage is shown of the game at least.
Though horrowhip brought up a point that it would cost more making the game for the Xbox 360, but think about this. We have Sup Com, UaW:EA, Halo Wars, World in Conflict, And Commander and Conquer 3 on the console. We some games that play on the console they play a lot like Diablo (Too Human, Fable.). So I think getting it on a console will open it up to ALL players, casual players who don't have the time to get a computer to run these big games, but can afford a cheap=o console.
Of course the PC version will sale way more, but this could pave the way for other people to get into the game.
And I agree with you on the topic of mod support Meu2k7, it will not be that big, but it is a start.
what? Blizzard is well known for making games that require so little that any PC bought in the past 7 years will be able to run it. All it needs is Shader Model 2.0
And considering Shader Model 4.0 came out 2 years ago... They are requiring something 2 generations back. That is like someone releasing a PS3 game that also runs on the PSX....
And if you don't have Shader Model 2.0 that means you can't even run Vista... At which point your PC is pathetic and a junker that needs to be replaced(and can be replaces for sub $500)....
