These 2 games deserve a 10!

Gears of War 2 & Ninja Gaiden 2

I've been playing both and to be honest I'm very impressed, both these games have some kind of awesome vibe about them! Both have great graphics, gameplay, awesome boss battles, what more do you want? It's like USA & Japan, best of what both worlds have to offer.

Most of the time, reviewers never give sequals a better rating like they did with NG and they'll probably do the same with GoW. But these 2 really ARE better, y'all agree?

Ninja Gaiden is wayyy too flawed to receive a 10. It deserved an 8.5 at most.

Gears 2 is awesome but online has similar problems as the first one. It's really great but doesn't have the extra "umph" to deserve a 10.

The first NG game I played was Sigma, which is the best version of 1, 2 has more weapons, cooler finishing moves, better arrows, more awesome enemies, at the save points you get life back (NG2 is way easier).

I could go on but you get the point, it's better then 1

NG2 is to bugy to get a 10 but the gameplay is realy a 10

but gears 2 is realy desrve 10 more then MGS4 or GTA IV

no......i say 9.0 for both of them.....10 is way too much.

Gears 2 at 9.0 is perfect score for the game

Sorry both games have some pretty annoying flaws. Not to say they aren't great games though.6matt6

i dont see any flaws that prevent gears 2 a 10 score if gta iv and MGS4 go here a 10

MGS4 and GTA IV have much more biger flaws then gears 2

the only flaws is see here is GS

Not sure about NG2, Thouse types of games always kick my butt. But for Gears 2, 10 is too much. 9.5 yeah. It is a great game, although the tanks parts are kinda bad.

But I think the only 10 games sofar are Baldur's Gate 2, Alpha Centauri, and Total Annihilation.

If MGS4 and GTA4 get 10s than GeoW2 should as well. (NG2 not so much). In all honesty Gears of War 2 is better than MGS4 and GTA4, but not sure any of them deserve a 10. With that said since the 2 afore mentioned titles got 10s, and Gears kicks their rears than I say heck yes it should get a 10.mgools

It really comes down to personal opinion and Gamespot opinion is that MGS4 is better than Gears 2.

no it's not, if you read the conditions for GS reviews they make it clear that titles are reviewed relative to their console and previous iterations. not against competing consoles.

no. they are not marginally better. both deserve the scores they got.

Gears 2 is extremely fun and i would personally give it a 8.0-8.5 but it is far from a 10, ninja gaiden 2 i have not played extensively and from my limited experience with the title i would give it a 7.0 compared to black's solid 9. To better gauge those scores i will post some of my other personal scores: Mass Effect - 6.5, Uncharted- 7.5, CoD 4 8.0, MGS4 - 9.0, Crysis - 8.5, Crysis Warhead - 9.0, GTA4 - 7, Company of Heroes - 9.0, Galactic Civ II (with arnor expansion) - 9.5, BF:BC - 6.0... there are tons more that i could list but that is not necesary now.eNT1TY

Lol, you would give Crysis warhead a 9.0? And you rate mass effect a whole point lower than uncharted... wow I really question your personal scale.

Ninja Gaiden 2 - 9.0

Gears of War 2 - 9.5

That is what I feel they deserved anyway.

But according to Lemmings like you, GeOW 2 deserves a 10 rather than MGS4 or GTA4. So, if fanboys are comparing the 2 games, we only can use GS Review scores. I just can't help myself to laugh at this. Are all Lems still DCing on MGS4 perfect 10 score? Get over it already and stop bringing it back up. It is embarrasing.

NG2 cannot get a 10. 8.5 max from me. If the slowdown is fixed maybe a 9.

Technically it's not even that. GTAIV and MGSIV (atleast in the eyes of Gamespot) took their respective franchsies to another level. Their improvements warranted a 10.

Gears deserves a 9.

Dead Space deserves an 8.5.

Fallout 3 deserves a 9.5-10.

Far Cry 2 deserves an 8.0.
