Things not looking so good for Sony in this console war right now.

Well this may be the final nail in the coffin for Sony this generation. I mean it happens, what did you sony fanboys think or for that matter anybody actually think that Sony would never lose its first place spot?!!? It happens Sony came along and beat Nintendo, and was first place for 2 generations, but now Nintendo, and Microsoft have struck them down and they no longer reign supreme. Its not a suprise at all, its what happens. Mabye next generation they might get back on top again . Or Nintendo will be winning again, or Microsoft who knows. Bottom Line no company will ever stay on top. Sony is just doing poorly this gen, Sorry.

There were somewhere between 160 and 200 million consoles sold last gen

The game industry is growing

There have been around 30-40 million next-gen consoles sold so far this gen

That means that 120 million (at least) have yet to choose a next-gen console

Do things look better for the Wii and the 360 this gen than they do for the PS3, as of now? Yes.

Is it impossible for the PS3 to become highly competitive with the Wii or more importantly the 360? No.

Well Sony doesn't exactly win cuz Nintendo and Microsoft have made a lot more profit on their consoles than Sony this gen.

So in order to cripple the PS3 it needs to loose 3 good exclusives.

It needs 3 more exclusives to flop.

The competion needs 3 great exclusives ( or more) each ( 3 for the 360 , 3 for the wii and 3 for the PC ) .
